As titled. I noticed a comment that suggested I could lock my wheel or render it immediately unresponsive during motion? I find this hard to believe but am a little chicken to test the theory. Is this really even possible? I know my trolley and power buttons don't do this while in motion.

Should be enough that you walk the wheel to try it out!

This behaviour is like the trolley and power button secured within the firmware! So EUC World just sends comnands like all other apps - no way to "hack" the firmware for immedeate stop...

I figured as much. Considering the source of the info I happened across, no surprise here. It aint like this is Seba's first rodeo and he doesnt seem to miss glaring detail like that. Thanks for the prompt reply. Shall I erase this post altogether, as maybe the question itslef arises uneccessary doubt?

Imho not. This topic comes up from time to time - so future EUC riders asking themselves this question have a chance to stumble over this post and get an answer!

No, as @Chriull already stated, it's impossible. There is a protection in wheel firmware that doesn't allow to lock the wheel during a ride. In addition, EUC World has its own protection measure that prevents issuing a wheel lock command when speed is at or above 2 km/h. The same applies to wheel/motor off command etc.

It's Clairette - a "girl" that is good in blaming other people for her own faults:

What is interesting, you can read in user details that she owns Nikola+. But Nikola (as any other Gotway) doesn't even allow for locking/unlocking from the app...

No, keep it. The information here may allay the concerns of other users worried about whether accidentally locking the wheel from the app will cause it to shut down during a ride. Answer is simple and clear - no, it won't.
