KNZ
Good find! Now I won’t have to waste every hour of every day searching aimlessly, never being fulfilled
That Guy
Alright, let's speculate... :-) Jack hasn't spoken with us about his first S20 experience because: A. It was so awesome, he needed to take some time off to recover from the over-excitement, B. The colour of red didn't suit the wheel, C. S20 was just boring without speakers and lights, D. Commander was a more exciting wheel... Other possibilities? :-)

When a private chat is screenshotted and taken out of context it becomes a very dangerous situation. I'm here to help clarify a few things that have been spreading. 1. The King S20 Eagle is still 126V. There were NEVER any plans of making this 100v. 2. The second rumour is that Kuji is going to get the S20 Eagle for review this week, this is also not true. I do not intend on using my good friend Kuji as a test dummy. When we are at that stage we will confidently send Kuji an S20 for video collaboration. We will however be releasing content with actual product (not renders this month) 3. Rumours of me leaving King Song, this is true. Without going into a lot of detail the simple fact is that I came back to China to help develop a product that EUC riders across the globe had been asking from the industry. Now that the major parts (at least from my perspective) is done, I have crossed this off my bucket list and will be moving onto bigger and better things. I am not leaving because of some "major faults" in the S20, in fact that would make me want to stay to help resolve it, I do not dodge issues, I take them head on. I'm so sad that your leaving the EUC industry :(. Thanks for all the great things you helped accomplish! Now how do we get the EUC companies to hire other people who understand what we want and speak perfect English???
Popular Post gordonjl
S20 Ease of Maintenance -- What can we expect? For but a precious few EUC rider, we not only ride our wheels but also maintain them. I have enjoyed riding my 16x but am really disappointed by how difficult it is to do simple things like replacing fuses (something I've had to do 4 times so far). Replacing the fuses requires me to: Take off the pedals remove the ten screws per panel that are under glued padding!!! (so, after the first time you open the wheel, it looks like crap when you put it back together) Remove 8 screws on the top cover put it all back together Grumble because a number of panel screws can't go back in because the plastic mounts broke a loooong time ago All the above takes around 30 minutes to do, and is impractical to do while I'm out riding. What I want to know is how the S20 is going to address: Replacing a tire. Do I have to completely disassemble a wheel if I have to replace the tire or patch the tube? Replacing fuses. First, I hope the S20 won't require me to do this because it's a tougher wheel, but if I still need to, how accessible are the fuses? What other standard maintenance tasks do people find they have to perform? Will those tasks be easy, or is it the case that we'll still have to put up with wheels designed to roll off the assembly line rather than be easily maintained? Design wise the s18 is on the correct path, taking out the motor/wheel feels like working on a vehicle, not a computer accessory. The tube can also be patched with the wheel on, the tyre is exposed enough for that. Edited September 24, 2021 by enaon

I still don't like seeing screws underneath padding, but you're right, it does look more quality than a 16x's plastic interior.
jrhz06
Actually very quick and easy to change a tire on the S18. There’s a cheat that requires drilling a small access hole, that isn’t visible from outside, which allows you to remove the wheel and tire without removing any body panels.
TheFoss0331
All this anticipation is killing me with actual True S20 specs and real life ride footage, some video showed was it jack? But he showed the S20 in the background and said he would be posting some info soon regarding it? Is that still waiting to happen super stoked I know king song will do a killer job! I haven’t had one issue with my S18

Popular Post That Guy
I think we need to give Jack some space. S20 is a very ambitious project and many things need to be adjusted and tuned before becomes as amazing as we all have imagined it. I would rather wait for something amazing for a couple of more months than getting early disappointment. ;-)

Paul A
How does a wheel/tire remove without removing any body panels?
jrhz06
If I knew how to put a pic on here I’d post the cheat.
Paul A
Ok, think KS would be very interested. Especially if it would work for other wheels too. Maybe more important for them to know and have it on all future wheels for everyone, than just the few members here that find out about it. Popular Post jrhz06
The reason for taking all the body panels off of the s18 is to get access to one of the 6 screws that hold the cover over the battery connector. By letting all the air out of the shock you can collapse the wheel and get access to 5 of the 6 screws. To get to the 6th screw move the pad to the side a bit and drill a small hole above the screw so that you now have access to the 6th screw. By doing this you can now remove the small access piece covering the battery connector. Once that’s unplugged you take off the pedals and unscrew the axle bolts, 4 per side, deflate the tire and slide it out. Hope this makes sense. Paul A
@jrhz06 Great piece of inventiveness, think all S18 owners will be very appreciative of your ingenuity, well done. @Jack King Song Please take note and perhaps pass onto KS. Maybe KS should send jrhz a gift card for the great idea.
jrhz06
Wish I could take credit for the cheat but I’m just passing on info.
Lukasz
I did not knot that it is any way of "hack" in here.... ;-) I unscrew all 6 screws even without making extra hole in the plastic any time I need to remove the motor.. - just for the least accessible screw You have to unscrew it with slightly angled screwdriver. Those screws are screwed into plastic, so there is not much force needed to unscrew it... Edited September 25, 2021 by Lukasz
