HotelOakland Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Hi Folks, I just received my S18 yesterday, very excited. However, by visual inspection, I found that the gap/space between the edge of the tire and the shell on the right is about 1/4" wider than the gap on the left (when facing to the front of the wheel, please click links below to see red highlights on the screenshots), same as the rear suspension linkage. Can anyone confirm if this is normal? Thanks in advance. https://www.dropbox.com/s/bmm6xc0l7uiwign/20210403_000509.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/wknpxfvt81yqu4j/20210403_000638.jpg?dl=0 Quote
FinRider Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I have the same on mine. Rides fine though, no issues. 1 Quote
Brendan "nog3" Halliday Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 This is by design, you'll find that the side with the wider motor-shell distance has the tube valve on it. This offset spacing is to allow for easier access to the valve 1 Quote

Some had the opposite side. Weird Quote

Weird These are spacers on the motor between the hangers and the motor cover, so it's possible someone in factory or owner has swapped them around 1 Quote
