Petevape
I have just got a new hoverboard for Christmas and played with it for an hour or 2 and it stopped working. The front right light (Looking from the front) is flashing and the left one is on constantly. Its beeping constantly with the red light flashing. The battery light was red but is now green. I have tried the calibration trick but it seems to be something else. I have opened it up and checked all the connections and they seem OK. When I ask it to calibrate the front right light flashes 5 times then they both flash at a slow rate. Any ideas on what to try next would be greatly appreciated. hoverboardfaq
That flashing red light problem is the worst. On some of those I have replaced two gyros and a motherboard and the thing still won't work. I saw a youtube video where it a kid said with his board it was just a loose wire where those metal tabs click into the plastic clips. I checked all my connections though and all were good. Red light is no good, typically means a motherboard.
dnjwholesale
You most likely need a new motherboard. Try calibrating it first. If that doesn't work your going to want to make sure all the wires are connected, specifically those metal clamps that bring the individual wires into the clasps. If that doesn't fix it it's almost certainly a motherboard. Flashing red light typically indicates a bad motherboard.
