Dan Cobar Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 (edited) I bought a KS 16X today and had a nice ride. I connected to the wheel with EUCworld, and I can see the speed and battery level, but I can't change any of the settings. Anyone know what to do? I should add that the seller removed this wheel from his apps. If I had his KS app login and PW, could I get access to the wheels settings? Thanks, Dan. Edited March 28, 2021 by Dan Cobar Quote

So there is no way of releasing it. Seems there was no bluetooth password, too (?do ks wheels allow setting passwords at all?) as you have a connection. Could be your ks16x is a model for the chinese market? These have a p in the serial number. These wheel have very limited support by all apps ;( Quote

Dan Cobar Posted March 28, 2021 Author Posted March 28, 2021 (edited) We figured it out. I went back to the seller and he connected with KS app, and reset password. Now I can change settings with EUCworld app. Edited March 28, 2021 by Dan Cobar 2 Quote

You can then clear password from wheel settings by entering serial number again. This is why it's best to remove serial number stickers from pedals and keep it in a safe place for reference. More, there is also another sticker on the mainboard, so it's best to remove it as well. 7 Quote
