A question like that is why I'm always checking www.Urban360.com  I was able to find a fellow Wheeler here in Kansas.  He(or She) told me of all the cool bike trails.  But the problem is.... not everyone registers on the site.  I don't like a "big Brother".  I just register my town.  If you put a flag down for San Diego your be marking it as a Wheels city.

I just registered on that websiite but I feel Im being watched when Im logged in.  It doesn't seem that many users anyway. The whole California has about 30 riders, mainly in San Francisco.  None in San Diego.
