Neale Gray
Hi @Jed I will not be posting to this forum until moderation of my posts are removed. I had a moderation placed on my forum account after posting information about safety equipment so I am sorry this forum will not receive any content until the restriction is removed. In the meantime Milbay will answer any personal messages and we continue to post on FB, our website and Youtube so maybe best to go there for the latest information Fast electric unicycles only https://www.facebook.com/groups/435305449993067/ Milbay FB https://www.facebook.com/MilbayAus/ Kingsong FB https://www.facebook.com/KingSongUnicycles/ Milbay website http://www.milbay.com.au I don't have a problem with the fine line between content and promotion but I do not believe in moderation of valid comments. I am looking at you @John Eucist

I am looking at you @John Eucist Your posts are moderated because you continue to violate the rules and repeated warnings from the moderators of this forum. There is little choice aside from an outright ban. For your information you have the highest "Post reported by member" count among all the members in this forum. We only ask that any Milbay marketing be posted in the advertising section of the forum instead of the non-advertising sections of the forum. If your post was about safety equipment in general instead of selling "Milbay Safety Equipment" then it would not have been a problem. That post was reported by another member, and frankly we are tired of having to respond to complaints from our members. Putting your comments on moderation means we are giving you a chance to prove yourself to follow forum rules. Adherence to rules over time will naturally result in removing moderation requirements placed on your account. We do not get paid for moderating your comments and it takes up our time. We will allow your current post, despite all the links to your company, in case you decide that you will no longer post in this forum.

I am looking at you @John Eucist @Neale Gray there are a lot of regulars posting here who are in EUC-related businesses, yet they have not encountered the same problems. It's disingenuous to hide behind the "fine line between content and promotion" when a post like this one and this one cross that line by a wide margin. It's not just the moderators who think you're crossing the line, this post has the dubious honor of being the most downvoted I've ever seen on the forum. It's no fun for moderators to chase after people when they make inappropriate posts. Moderating posts takes our time, but so does answering reported content and that has been happening too often with your posts. This is hard because your on-topic posts are useful and informative. Please work with us here. If you find yourself wanting to say "At Milbay we..." in a post outside the Advertising forum, just don't. Your expertise is the best marketing tool Milbay could have, you don't need to post ads or promotional text in inappropriate places.

I think it was hidden within the hour of it being posted. Had it been left unhidden it would have probably gathered a hundred downvotes. 1 hour ago, dmethvin said: @Neale Gray there are a lot of regulars posting here who are in EUC-related businesses, yet they have not encountered the same problems. Assuming it's a nominal around 60V (57.6...59.2V) battery, it should have about 60V * 4.4Ah = 264Wh, so probably it's 2 * 132Wh. Depending on your weight and other conditions, it should give about 13-26 kilometers (10-20Wh per kilometer).
