After lurking about this forum i have seen that Eucs have some apparent problems. Usually but not always, the new releases are the main culprits.  All the brands have different issues and they take several iterations to overcome these .I,m all for people getting to know their wheel and replacing stuff and updating stuff on their wheels but not when they are BRAND NEW! When you are paying thousands of dollars for something ,you want it to work properly first time. I,m thinking that we need a listing of brands and models and number of units  with problems .Inherent problems such as a weak shell, oscillations, poor QC or inappropriate pedal size etc can be listed. Fixes for these problems could also be included.  The manufacturers arent going to do this, the sellers are too closely tied to the suppliers financially. When manufacturers can see their product being hated on by pissed-off buyers about their new below-par product then we might engender some change .Faulty products bought from a seller should be returned to the seller within the warranty period for them to REPLACE and not fix. This might engender them to only supply tried and tested machinery. Until we see some transparency about issues with Eucs we will continue to be used as beta testers and fork over big cash for this privilege(sic).

Veteran Sherman: (first revisions as I dont own any others...)

Pedal dip.  Most prevelant in first batches, and was somewhat remedied with updates and on later releases. I still notice it on mine after update but its tolerable.

Tire/rim fitment.     Some are complaining about lack of QC in rim prodcution and it leads to tire offsets and questionable longevity of smooth ride.

Poor cage alignment.     Not uncommon that headlight and tail light mounting brackets are welded horribly offset. Cage alignment is suspect.

Lighting connection.     Inadequate connection in modular lighting. Reports of intermittent failure in front/rear lighting.

Fastener Quality.       DUrr, EVERY euc company to date can't seem to quit buying second rate recycled paperclip made fasteners.

Info screen leaks.     Poor choice in sealing of the information screen, leads to water ingress, requiring owner intervention.

Sadly, it would take about 20 bigger problems to put this wheel in the 'bad' category. Yes, expectations need be that low or youll never be happy.

Lol, my S-18 had a screw that's shaft was shaped like an S. Was a nightmare taking it out, ended up stripping it as I removed it and ended up replacing it with a socket head.

A related tip: google usually works better than the forum's built-in search, try it like this:

My thoughts were to highlight Euc inadequacies by model so new buyers can c what there in for and the prevalance of these in one place.I can find and search for stuff but Newbies want all of it together. If forum users updated a tally then the community would have an unbiased report on whats "crapola".
