Anyone want to meet up and ride?

What routes do you take regularly?

I generally run the Monon Trail from Carmel to Ripple with the occasional weekend ride downtown Indy.

Yes ... from Greenfield. I off work Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday each week for the month of August because of the way my vacation time works out recently. I'll PM you.

Three of us have planned a ride at 10 AM this Saturday 8-8-2020. One of us is showing the other two what the Monon Trail is all about. Expecting good times. Any other EUC folks showing up would be a bonus.

Fort Wayne, Indiana is centrally located between Indy, Orland, Elkhart, and Toledo .... and all of us  :efefd0f676:  Looks like about a 2 hour drive for most of us, maybe a little more/less.

It looks like an interesting set of trails along the river front there. Is there such a thing as a Mid-West EUC ride this spring, on some Sunday?? The Indy guys can check to see if more of the Indy crew on Facebook might be interested. There is usually some food :popcorn: and drink :eff00eab1e: on a ride like this! Is anyone familiar with Fort Wayne food establishments?

This Indy part of the forum is pretty quiet. I think we can all answer back right here without it getting messy!

@Ptrck  Welcome to the Forum.

Can you please describe the circumstances behind the demise of the V10F board. Too much hill climbing? Hit a bad bump? Spontaneous failure for no apparent reason? V10F owners need to know! :efef3d5527:

The Sherman Max should be a fun one. I went for a ride recently with a local Sherman rider along the Pennsy Trail on the east side. Also, the Muncie trail along the river is very nice ... just went there last week for the 1st time ... definitely going back!

Thanks. I went down a 4 inch step and felt a little stutter. I got off and went to push back and forth with my hands and it cut out. It wouldn't turn on after that. I was very lucky I didn't hit a bump and have the wheel cut out going 20 mph.

Is anyone riding around Indy these days? I need to venture out and get to different parts of town.

Posted (edited)

@Ptrck Yes, there are a good number of Indy riders. @HerotheCat and @c5flybyu are a couple others that are on the Forum here that ride a lot. They have a big FaceBook thing happening, but I do not have the link ... not a FB fan. I roll around Greenfield almost daily.

Cool. Do you ever get to Indy and ride with them? I'd like to check out Greenfield sometime. I don't do FB. I'm only on here, Telegram and Signal.

I make it over there about every 6 to 8 weeks or so when my schedule allows. I could show you around Greenfield if you don't mind rolling with an older, slower rider. But you do need to check out the Indy crew. They get some pretty big rides going and go to some interesting places. The other two I mentioned should show up here in a few days or less.
