I now HATE Walking!!
I have been riding my Airwheel for a little over a year. Here is my review and training video. I hope it can help some of you new riders. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0EW0gfwbWA Interesting Fact: Airwheel stole this video from me and uploaded it as their own, at one point! elias_
thanks a bunch! i enjoyed your video, do you find yourself wishing you got a more powerful EU? im debating on going relatively low $400 or spending up and over $600. I also see there are many sales for these products as they get more popular, just asking your opinion.

I watched your video when I was still learning. There are more powerful units to chose from which are much preferred by forum members and you will outgrow the slow ones quickly.

I take it everywhere I can, which is always paved streets and sidewalks. I feel like it goes pretty fast, and is WAY better than walking. After one year, The battery is near dead and I just ordered a replacement for $91 on Banggood.com. Since airwheels have come down to under $300, its not a bad place to start. I never had any problems with the power. Its zips up my parking garage, just fine, and I have used it on the hills at a skateboard park too. Unfortunately, I have now learned that there are more powerful EUCs out there and I have EUC envy. I will probably give this one to my daughter next year and get a Gotway just because I love power and speed. Its a good thing I did not have that to start, though. They go fast enough that you could really hurt yourself. The Airwheel goes about running speed, so if you get into trouble, you can just jump off and let it crash, and save yourself. One other good thing about the airwheel is that it is pretty light. I can squeeze it between my feet and jump up curbs. I am not sure I could lift the Gotway in a jump. One other thing. It might not hurt to go cheap now and wait for the prices to drop. The airwheel price is half of what it was a year ago. The hoverboards are really competing and driving EUC prices down. I am laying low this year, with just a new battery. I am hoping I can get a powerful, fast wheel with a big battery, next year, for under $500. Please check out what others have to say. I have only tried and loved one EUC. Some of the other members have experience with several and can give you more well-rounded advice. I did find this web site pretty informative. They seem pretty unbiased, but you never know. http://bestelectrichoverboard.com/self-balancing-unicycle-reviews/the-best-electric-unicycle-reviews-2015/
elias_
thanks a bunch for your info... i have been researching a lot the past couple weeks and informative reviews and videos like yours have really helped! Its cool to know the info is out there, you just have to find it! The hobby is still fairly new which makes me weary of buyers remorse, but again i thank you so much for your help and replys! I will most likely buy something mid ranged with specs of a 260wh batt so im not buying another too quickly. I know myself and my adventurous side says get something FAST but although im young, ive still taken a few falls in my day due to over confidence. I will read the article and be sure to update you on which EU i decide on.
