Hey guys, this might be common knowledge already but I’m having a hard time finding it.

The original 100V MSX came with the same motor as the 84v, correct? And was this the “60v” denominated C30 motor? Wondering if these are the same and the cabling would be compatible.

Alternatively, I could get by with a new rim from @Jason McNeil eWheels and swap the motor over. Does anyone have any experience doing that?

Thanks!

I don’t have an answer but additional observation/question.

All 84V wheels

ACM2, MSX and TeslaV2 have 60V ######### HB C30 motor.

Are they all the same?

Does anybody know or nobody care?

Don't know the answer to this, but know that even the same physical motor size can behave quite differently depending on how they wound the copper.  So you can't say two motors are the same on diameter and thickness alone.  Need Kv rating as well.

I'm 99.999999% sure the 84v and 100v MSX motors were identical.

Bearing in mind I converted my 84v MSX to 100V (nothing changed other than batteries and main board) and it's run very well ever since, I would say it's fine.
