Popular Post Zombie Batman Posted October 21, 2020 Popular Post Posted October 21, 2020 (edited) If you have a Noctua fan in your wheel remove the foil sticker before it causes a short. I opened my wheel to find that the sticker had fallen off the fan. The sticker is metallic and conductive. Its only a matter of time until heat and vibration pry the foil sticker loose. Having a piece of foil touch the control board can cause a wheel to fail. Edited October 21, 2020 by Zombie Batman 8 Quote
Patricio Bohórquez Rodríguez de Medina Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Thanks for the advice. I see your motherboard is one of the latest. Did you update it from the old model or did it come as it is from factory? The bridge cables you used for strip led and usb make me think you had to update the mainboard. I am in a similar situation, even with the fan, thanks again for the tip. Quote
Zombie Batman Posted December 14, 2020 Author Posted December 14, 2020 I control board from the factory failed on my first ride. I got a replacement board and installed it myself. So far the replacement has been great. Quote
