Is the Nikola as annoying as the mcm5? Should I go with Kingsong all together?

I currently have the mcm5. It's worked well for the most part as a beginning wheel. However the beeping is one of the most irritating things ever. Somedays it beeps anytime I go faster than 15mph. Was thinking about getting a Nikola for my next one but if this is just a thing with gotway debating on the Kingsong 16x. Let me know your opinions please. It's really difficult finding out information when it comes to some of these things

Wth, usually it’s the opposite complaint that KingSong’s speed reduction is more conservative than gotway’s.

did you turn off the first and second alarms via the app? If so, do you keep the wheel charged?

If you have the 84v/1500w motor version of the wheel, it shouldn’t make a peep until you pass 25 mph, given that it’s close to fully charge and the redundant alarms are turned off.

I got the Tesla V2, and it never beeps unless battery is like less than 20% or so, then it beeps when pushed hard. I also had MCM5 for a few weeks and didnt beep.  Must be a setting.

Nikola beeps around 38mph(60kmh), depending on your battery level. Don't think you will hear beeps too well at that speed.

the only annoying thing about the nikola is the loud beep when turning on and off, like i don't need  to notify the whole world that im shutting off that thing. <_<

My thought processes tend to start back at the basics. Sorry if I go too far back.

First wheel - beeps over 15 mph.

1) Have you set the speed alarms? If not it will beep over 15mph.
2) The MCM5 is a wheel with a somewhat small battery. Once the battery is below (20 - 50%?) The speed is reduced and the alarm will sound if you go above(  15mph?)The larger battery wheels tend to go faster and the speed is reduced later.

Note: I don’t have an MCM5 so I don’t know the actual numbers on speed throttling.

I've yet to hear my Nikola beep because at the speed it's going to start complaining you're not going to hear anything (Above 40mph). I cut the wheel out once because I was flying and couldn't hear anything at 42mph (that was my cue to upgrade Darkness bot and get alarms at various speeds in the 30's).

The Nikola is one of the best wheels on the market. You will never have an issue with speed throttling unless you're a more aggressive rider than 90% of the people that own these machines.
