I had the Pirelli angel on for the about 150 miles prior to it.  It is nimble and fun but had a few drawbacks for me.  The profile is fairly flat in comparison to the City Grip 2 so at speed (35 mph or more) it takes a significant effort to get it off center to carve.  It is also very small in comparison so your pedal height is lower, leading to scrapes on hard turns.  I do agree that the Pirelli dampens vibrations and is very smooth after hitting bumps but it has an initial sharpness to the hit that the city grip 2 doesn't have.  City grip 2 makes all bumps seem smaller and less dramatic.  I find that I can just ride seated through just about everything with it.

Sherman Max has the same inner step which causes that fitment issue.  When i was putting the City Grip on it was trying to do the same.  I pulled it off- put dish soap on both the inner bead and the edge of the shelf and then inflated to 80psi.  Plopped on with perfect position.

Added that and the other candidate Shinko's... although I have no idea how to buy them in USA :/ 

Shame they're all rated as tubeless tires (stiff and heavy).

I dont.  I would say there is a better chance it fits on the s22 without trimming.  When Eevees was in town on their demo tour we put the Sherman Max nose to nose with the s22 and its tire was like significantly wider.  Almost 1/2 inch wider and still room on each side.

Yup, i have K66 on mine ks18xl and love it. Much better than those "flimsy" stock tires. And i ride 90% asphalt, that's how good it is.

I'm 99% sure it's 80/90-14 (Most people who can install 18x3" tire, uses 80/90-14.)

My case - i have installed 80/80-14. As i had originally 18x2.5" tire.

I reached out to ewheels to find out which street tire and whether there would be a difference in price.  Below is Jason's response:

70/90 are very small. The tire height from where tire/rim meet is ~50mm..

80/80 = ~58mm.

80/90 = ~65mm.

If he had 80/90 - you can go 80/80.. Not 70/90...

Ps check K66 tire - many people love it and it's smaller than CityPro. 80/80-14 diameter is 48cm, width 76mm, height from where tire/rim meet 58mm. < I got that tire..

I put an 80/90-14 city pro on the ex.n. I think it fits fine. Not sure though if anyone wants to take a look

Sorry, but that looks too tight for me. I’d prefer more space between the tire and shell to safely shed stones and mud. But if it works for you, great.

Curious to ask, so do you think a h666 may actually fit with a similar level of effort? I have yet to attempt it on my own Shermax - 750 miles on the knobby at this point. I have 3x currently in storage after abruptly selling my mspc30, so I’m hopefully saving money over the moto option at this point.

MC tire are superior for street riding where compound/grip/structure makes the difference, C113 is good but have not the "rail" feel of a michelin or a k66 for example.

I need to buy tire(s) again and while I really like the CST C6004 which I find is the best street tire I've ridden so far all things considered, I still would like to find something similar but essentially more compliant. I rode a bit with the stock K262 knobby and appreciated the fact it's more supple than the C6004 which is 6PLY / 41P.

So a few questions if you recall:

1. How much tramlining does it show?
2. What is it that you call gyro: is it that the tire wants to keep the wheel upright, or that changing the steering at speed requires more effort while it's more nimble at low speed?

Ultimately, did you keep it on your wheel, if not what did you switch to and why?

Ebuy7 accidentally sent me a C137 in my order of 2x C6004 and 1x C113.
One of the C6004 was for a friend and I gave it to him.

I'm trying to get them to send the second C6004 as desired, but out of curiosity, has anybody tried the C137?
I think they sent the C137 2.74-14 41P version.
It has the "classic" motorcycle pattern.

I was planning to install the C113 on my Sherman Max to try a very soft tire. There's not much carcass or sidewall stiffness at all.
If I have to keep the C137, I might try give it a shot at some point, maybe even instead of the C113? Despite it's like rated like the C6004, 6 PLY and 41P, its carcass hardness is in between the C6004 and C113.
