Seriously has anyone got a direct source, surprised Gotway would just keep this secret, for what reason? Just doesn't make sense which makes me feel this is just nonsense.

Personally I think this new RS is real. The production/ordering specs are already on the Alibaba page for ordering. Now as to exact production date & more importantly for us not located in China, the deal breaker maybe the much delayed shipping caused by wuflu  esp. shutdowns in our respective countries. Customs in my country at least is not back up to full staff causing 2+ times normal to clear.

As to why GW is keeping mum on the RS designation + changes, who the hell knows. We aren't exactly dealing with normal western business practises here.

PS: I also heard in reddit of a person who canceled his MSP order by advise of his dealer (wink wink hint hint) in expectation of the RS model. I can't confirm it so take it for what it is.

It's official! The RS is available for pre-order at the Ali stores. Chiway is the cheapest @$1999. Both HT & HS versions will have the 2600w motor. I can't say for sure but pics shows a larger/longer pedal with a much smaller dihedral angle.

None of my local insitu stores have it as yet & Ewheels isn't showing it either. I'm thinking we won't see it til Nov - Dec which at my part of the universe, will be filled with lotsa white fluffy stuff. I'm a thinking ordering for early spring '21.

The reseller i use in Europe says that it's one model, not two.

What is the HT and HS versions?!

There are 2 official models for the new RS. A C38 High Torque designation with a no load topend of 79kps. The C30 High Spd has a no load topend of 97kps

The C30 should have a real top spd of 70+ kph making it the fastest wheel on the market! Vee @130lbs should be able to hit close to 80kph!!! Fraks, that's nuttts!

Not sure where the 'fastest wheel on the market' comes from?! Isn't the no load speed of the Veteran at least 97kmh?

And 80kmh is just under 50mph. Several people have hit 50mph+ on the Veteran already.

I believe both the monster and the veteran do over 100km/h no load speed.

My bad! The new RS HS is ONE of the fastest wheel on the market & THE FASTEST wheel <$2k. Hmmm how's that for a correction 😅!

I'm not so crazy bout doing 50mph but I am looking forward to cruising at 40mph as much as I can.

Meh, i'm happy with the MSP

And so are a lot of others with an MSP.

For many people though (like me) it isn't just about top speed. For me, the extra speed the specialist wheels give is very handy for when the battery is low, allowing to still maintain a decent pace before beeps. And this is more relevant especially when we are doing big mileage sometimes charging 3 times a day. Getting your speed cropped sometimes 3 times a day can become a pain.

You must have some high amp charger to be able to fully charge 3 times a day. Standard charger (3 amps) takes about 6 hours to fully charge? Or are you talking about charging in short bursts (1-2 hours) just to be able to keep going?

We all use 6A chargers. Usually charge at around 50% because we do push the wheels. If we do 2 charges we may be running the batts a bit lower.

I just found some pretty decent photos of the Rs on this website:  https://eucsale.com/euc-transport/gotway/gotway-rs.html#slide4

Most of the pics I have seen on the Ali Stores DO seem to be of the MSP and not the Rs.  The easiest way I have been able to discern between the models is that the Rs has dual charging ports on top, less dihedral on the pedals and larger light bars rather than individual LEDs.

Anyone else besides me notice how freakin large those pedals are? At least they look/seem huge to fit even a size 13/14 foot! I think this what the MSP shoulda been from the beginning. Wonder how much torque the hs's 2600w motor will be?

Definitely nicer looking pedals...  On past iterations of the MSX/MSP, I know a number of guys were replacing the stock pedals with something larger, like the Nikola or Monster pedals.  In doing so though, the larger pedals would sometimes need to be modified so that the dihedral was not too aggressive and most times the bigger pedals would not fold up all the way because the pedal recesses on the case were designed for the smaller stock pedals.  The nice thing on the Rs is that it appears they have corrected this issue by enlarging the pedal recesses on the case to accommodate the larger pedals.

Hi every one!

I buyed a MSP Torque 2 weeks ago but I haven’t receive it at the moment. Would you use your right to whitdrawal to buy RS version?

I can see the price will be the same, is very sad for only two weeks don’t have any information about new model.

I think the RS is worth buying versus the MSP. New larger pedals, headlight corrected so that it does not disturb pedestrians, larger center bearing, buzzer will be heard better, disconnect button under the handle, illuminated logo, new front and rear LEDs, double charging port with cover on the button panel .
