I *think* 30mph would be satisfactory for me, and the V11 has potential to go 34mph. But then again, I thought 21.7mph would be too fast for months and I was completely off. It's tough to decide what I should get next but my eye is on the V11 at this point in time, primarily because it has suspension and I like Inmotion's build quality. LOL, this is how it all starts. We have a bunch of guys going 40mph+ now in NYC, who were saying the same things you're saying right now when they started too 7 minutes ago, WebDev said: and the V11 has potential to go 34mph. Has anyone truly confirmed this yet via GPS? (this brings back memories of my V5F+ back in the day, and the failed promise of 19mph speed unlock ) InMotion traditionally is a slow drip reduction in speed until the software-set cutoff threshold where the speed drops off much steeper (seems to be 30%-ish for V11). I'm still a bit incredulous of a true 34mph lasting the majority of the small-ish V11 battery due to my past InMotion experiences, esp V10F. Either way, I'll tell you, it's experiences like you described, speed and range envy, when group riding with others that has basically driven the majority of at least the NYC ridership here to ride Gotway and now Veteran. I would advise only riding with other PEV that is same speed or slower if you don't wanna get bit by the need-for-speed bug

I don't have to hug the wheel with my ankles or shins anymore. I feel very relaxed when I'm on it like I'm just standing on the ground. I hit 21 mph today which is almost the max this wheel is capable of. I don't get the wobbles as much, and when I do, I've learned that pushing down on one foot works very well to eliminate it. I just got back from a night ride where I had my side led's on and was jamming the Knight Rider theme. What a blast! I am on my second day of riding, and I look a lot like you after such a short time on my V10F. I'm hitting some decent speed already in a big empty parking lot, but am pretty weak/shaky when it comes to directional control. I came here looking for tips how to deal with the scary wobble I am hitting up against impatiently. Will try your method, also leaning the wheel on one shin instead of gripping with both. I thought I was doing great to be able to stay on for a minute at a time after only about 40 minutes of fail, but it feels like I'm stuck at this barely-capable level. It's good to hear that I just have to keep at it, and maybe in another week it will be very different. My shins and knees... ow! So, thanks for sharing.
