EcoDrift offers their own, extra waterproofing. I wouldn't try that with a stock MSP.

Wheels are more waterproof in reality than one thinks, but of course without a systematic, guaranteed approach it's a lottery and you can never be sure what you can or shouldn't do in regards to water and rain.

Indeed, also, the effect could come in quite later, after rust and vibrations have done their part. You could probably dip any PEV in water and it would work for a while. Then burst into flames.

Id pay for eco drifts topicalisation / waterproofing if it wasn’t such a hassle to ship a wheel.

I think ecodrift pulled his apart first and redid all the waterproofing before throwing it underwater.I wouldnt try it with a standard one as u might just find u have a garden ornament for display and not a rideable wheel!
