ridelondon Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 This has got to be staged right? I didn't think the msuper had an IP rating. Quote
meepmeepmayer Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 EcoDrift offers their own, extra waterproofing. I wouldn't try that with a stock MSP. Wheels are more waterproof in reality than one thinks, but of course without a systematic, guaranteed approach it's a lottery and you can never be sure what you can or shouldn't do in regards to water and rain. ridelondon Posted June 24, 2020 Author Posted June 24, 2020 Ah, that makes sense! I still want one though! Quote

Indeed, also, the effect could come in quite later, after rust and vibrations have done their part. You could probably dip any PEV in water and it would work for a while. Then burst into flames. Id pay for eco drifts topicalisation / waterproofing if it wasn’t such a hassle to ship a wheel. Edited June 24, 2020 by null Quote
Daley1 Posted June 26, 2020 Posted June 26, 2020 I think ecodrift pulled his apart first and redid all the waterproofing before throwing it underwater.I wouldnt try it with a standard one as u might just find u have a garden ornament for display and not a rideable wheel! Quote
