Paulandjacquelyn
Ordered from Amazon yesterday....got today. Took apart....cleaned off stupid padding tape glue( please never use that 3m tape). Luckily no scratches from last two initial weeks riding Added Slime to tube also. I went with a brushed metal wrap and just did centers. I'm really happy with look :)

DangerousDick
Nice, I ordered some brushed metal for the spare but they sent carbon effect - not the end of the world, but not as nice, but it wasn't wide enough to do the job properly so awaiting another delivery today. Does look very nice
DangerousDick
Yeah, delivery arrived and I couldn't wait love the 'brushed' effect on this stuff - doesn't show up the scuffs underneath as much! Decided to do the outside only - not trying to make it look like a 'P' honest! - not as easy to 'work with' as the orange I used the other day, but still went on OK. Each time I pick some of this stuff I get a little bit better at getting it applied without creasing it Run out of daylight today (much easier, specially with the darker colour, to see what you're doing!) so not going to finish up just yet but here's a teaser? Paulandjacquelyn
Looks good dangerous.. It's nice knowing easy enough to change out any time. I was going to do the outer part but after I got that stupid glue off I was surprised it looked new and shiny with no scratches. I figured that if I scratch up later I can wrap. DangerousDick
All done - looks great outside in the daylight, pitty the sun ain't shining, but at least it's not raining! Don't know whether or not to leave the 'inner' shell or go searching for another colour

Got it from that on-line auction site we all like to use from time to time - description / item number for search purposes : Brushed Aluminium Car Vinyl Wrap Film Various Colour-Sizes 'Air Bubble Free' #261238129595 - it's easier with the 600mm width but you can get away with 500mm just not leaving yourself any room for going around corners while pulling etc. I got 1.52m length and have used two thirds of it - plenty left for another side when it gets scuffed up? Goes on great with a bit of practice This is the second one - the first in orange you could easily tell which bits I did first as I improved during the process. Not saying the black one was perfect, but I was extremely happy with the results. I've still got the 'inner' circle cut-outs so might just be replacing the inners on the orange one when I get it back 'on the road'? Not bad for just over a £tenner and a bit of elbow grease? Bwuce Wee
Nice, can u do the same with normal spraycan? also, what can we do about the cushions/battery cover, they are ugly imo
DangerousDick
Personally, I've tried spraying before - and unless you're really good at it, the covering with adhesive vinyl is FAR easier and a lot less messy IMHO Of course, if you've got the skills (spray booth, space, temperature etc.) then you can get a lot more 'creative' with paint. I've seen some fantastic designs (and watched them doing it!) using small airbrushes but haven't got the skill, or artistic eye for it Also 'switched' to just the center to allow the translucent 'outers' to show the lights front & back
