Popular Post Niik01ay
Hi, everybody!. English is not my native language, sorry. I'm from Siberia, Russia. There is place more off-road then roads..))) So extra-wide EUC is very useful here and I designed and made my own project Bublik-18 === Tyre 18x9.5 2 kW Motor wheel - china's motor, (used in CityCoco scooter) Electronics - Russian production Battery - 64x18650, 60V (need 2x more) Pedals - KS16 Frame - steel/aluminum self-made Videos of tests: on clay: on forest soil: on forest paths: Edited April 20, 2022 by RagingGrandpa Link correction

Scottie
Love it! Looks like beach sand or snow would be just as easy. Where do I put in an order for one??
Popular Post Niik01ay
Thanks. Yes. Sand - is very easy in compare with usual EUC. Snow will check in winter.. ))) Snow must not be problem.. Ice - this is a question..))) Siberia - very good place for testing in snow condition... as you understand.. ))) Of course, you may "put an order" right here...))) but you must note - it's prototype, little bit "crude" (for instance, no mudguard) need DIY skills, and take money and time..))) To buy top model of industrial EUC will be much more easier...))
Arbolest
This looks fantastic! I love how simple and straight-forward the design is! I am also interested in this controller!

I can ask according with your needs..)) Tell me, for a what you need controller. May be I can help...)

travsformation
@Niik01ay That thing's awesome! What kind of range and speed do you get from this beast? And how difficult is it to turn compared to a "normal" EUC?

I don't ride more than 25 km/h (15 mph) CityCoco scooter with the same motor make more than 50 km/h (>30mph) Turning on low speed (include off-road) very easy. Balance on low speed much more easy than "normal" EUK. But on high speed turning is difficult, because Bublik want ride straight. Similar ZI0. You can start turn with standing on one inner leg. But it's not so simple.. this way can be used on transverse slope too. 1
Kryziss
Did you ever try a Z10? Do you think your tire has an advantage over a 4" tire on soft terrain? Snow or soft sand might be a determining factor to show a clear advantage? I wonder what would be the best balance between traction and manoeuvrability on these types of terrains with an EUC (considering you have the best thread possible for the job).

I try Z10 short test but not off-road. I love Z10 design, I think it best EUC design...))) But it very hard tyre. Z10 - not for soft terrain and absolutely not for off-road. But other EUC not better...)) IMHO...) Bublik is very friendly on sand, gravel, grass and has much more traction then Z10. And in addition you can use low pressure... and it really work..) Low speed manoeuvrability not a problem for both.. High speed manoeuvrability concider difficult technique for both, Bublik more, becouse wider... So, Z10 like a SUV for freeway, Bublik like a tractor..)) Hope I answer... ) English is not so easy for me..)))

redsnapper
you are a mad genius! great work! it surely takes much energy to move that tire and I can see how speed makes this wheel very hard to turn. But a very impressive diy! Bravo!
