Kryziss
Quick question. I know on my V8 it is not recommended to lift the wheel by the trolley handle since there is a dedicated lifting handle. If I am walking my 16X with the handle extended, do I have to retract it to avoid damaging it if I need to lift the wheel up a sidewalk or a short flight of stairs? PennBruce
IMHO I would retract it. The handle on my 18XL is so long that it would be difficult to lift the wheel with the handle extended. The handle on the 16X is shorter but why risk bending it. Bruce
TomOnWheels
on my 18L I sometimes are lifting it while handle fully extended... Seems to be ok... Also it has the latest version on handle (the black one).
.....
I wont lift my ks18L with handle up. Im on the second trolley and I can tell the thin rails and small catch tabs wont sustain it for long, being a 50lb object. I had the silver weaker trolley and now have the black. It's not that much stronger, so I dont risk it. Edited May 30, 2020 by ShanesPlanet
