  1. 1. Does your commute or private (errand-running) use of your EUC involve any off-roading? (riding on unpaved trails)

    • No
    • Only a short stretch of unpaved road
    • About 50/50
    • Mostly unpaved, but easy-going paths
    • Paved? I take the mountain goat route!
  2. 2. When riding for fun, how much of your riding is off-road?

  3. 3. When riding for fun, what type of unpaved trails do you usually ride on?

    • I don't ride on unpaved trails
    • Mostly easy-going scenic routes (the type where whole families goes bicycle-riding)
    • Mostly wide unpaved trails fit for SUVs
    • Mostly trails frequented by 4WD enthusiasts

  4. 4. Which of the following best describes your priorities when riding off-road?

    • I don't ride on unpaved trails
    • I prefer scenic routes that are easy riding: flat, compacted and well-maintained
    • I like to explore, I don't mind mind a few ruts and bumps, but nothing too challenging, that isn't the main focus of my rides
    • I love off-roading, I'm in it 50% for the nature-riding and 50% for the challenge
    • Nature is a nice backdrop, but I'm mostly in it for the off-roading. Bring on the ruts!
    • Nature? All I see are jumps! I'm the Evel Knievel of EUCs!
  5. 5. What's the average distance of your off-road tours?

    • Off-road? I've already told you 4 times I don't do off-road!
    • 0-15 km (up to 9-10 miles)
    • 15-30 km (10-20 miles)
    • 30-60 km (20 to 37ish miles)
    • More than 60 km (37.3 miles)

Hi everyone!

I've created this poll to complement the one created by @SamSuffit here:

Combining the data from both of them should yield some interesting insight into our EUC use, if you haven't taken his "general, EUC-usage" poll, I encourage you to do so! :)

There's unpaved trails and there's grassy fields. Grassy fields = death. I think the grassy fields might be the most dangerous of all choices because you cannot see holes and hence cannot avoid nor prepare for them. It's like purposefully riding at night without a light on an unknown road with known potholes. The majority of crashes that I didn't run off were grassy fields.
