AVAS sounds for EUC World

I wish the sound of horse hooves from walking to sprinting. Or a horse-drawn carriage.

As weird as it sounds, I actually would like to use that one. The sound of motorized vehicles is sure to annoy some people on curbs and walkways lol.

I'm working on some fun sounds for my setup here, but I am encountering an issue where I have to re-select the new sounds every time I restart EUC World. If I don't, I just don't get any AVAS sounds at all... I apply the sounds and stop/start AVAS, and my sounds work, but it won't persist through app restarts. Anybody else have this issue?

I just tried with the first 7 seconds of the Didgeridoo below, but the changing pitch make it not as enjoyable as expected. I wish the volume only was changed according to speed

LMAO... Ptdr j'en peux plus xDDDD

:) True. But I wanted something more primal and repetitive, which works in a loop and could also vaguely remind the sound of a motor

Here is the link to AVAS Jet Pack v1.0

Please read the read_me file before using

"by Vincent N - Version 1.0

Included is the raw file with the entire sequence

Things that could use some work:

1. Shorter power up time (this one is 15 seconds lol)
2. Longer and cleaner driving "speed dependent" time.
3. Perhaps modify the pitch of driving sound in the future so it doesn't get distorted as much
4. Adding more special FX like Overcurrent sounds etc... :)"

Anyone is welcome to edit / enhance it, please re-upload it here or just DM me with the improvements and I will reupload it.

I just took it for a quick spin around the neighborhood, and if you thought people already looked at you weird while riding an EUC, then be prepared for the next level of stares :roflmao:

I can actually see myself using this AVAS at night in order to increase my visibility and presence... Sometimes EUCs are too "stealthy" which can be a bad thing.

Nice!

Am playing around with a shorter power-up sound, need to test it first, a longer speed-dependent sound, and am playing around with the boost in the startup sequence as a possible current-dependent sound. Will test it this afternoon and post if my toying around yields anything usable :)
