F.J. Abaya
I have an older V3S+ with 1600wh batteries. Can I change the controller to the MSX 84V?
Rywokast
im not positive.. but i think the motors differ.. also, youd have to make sure the board actually fits how its supposed to in there and dust/water wont spray inside and destroy it... given those two things the shell matters little.. mrelwood
The board (at least on the MSX) is cooled through an opening to the wheel well. The position and size of the opening should match as well for the cooling to work. And if the motor is different, it requires a different controller software algorithm. While the motor might even seem to run on the MSX software, it might not when you most desperately need it to, during an emergency braking, fast acceleration, or nearing top speed etc.
