orbajosbrother
A simple mod but one that I hope will be handy. A bullseye level in the center of the wheel.
.....
Haha, too funny. This is an old post I didnt see until now. I wonder how this worked out, as I bought the 60mm version of same with similar intent. Id imagine the tough part is going to be in HOW I mount it. Not much use if its not on there level. Perhaps just placing a sticker in the spot would allow me to use on multiple wheels with same 'pre sticker' calibration. Anyone else do this at all with any success?

Basement was dug and poured by hand, main floor is on the side of a mountain. NOTHING is level out here, no references. I'm excited to get a printer, maybe I'll make a stand. Still, 2' of 2x4 and 2' of 2x6' and 5minutes is hard to beat for a stand. Gotta have that tire touching the ground or the stand to level anyhow. I quit turning mine on with it off the ground, after I left some skid marks. I just assumed it would need the tire stable as a leveling reference, but you may very well be right. I'll have to give that a try later. I'll take uneven floor in a rural mountain farm house, over flat condo floors anyday.
