Why the UNANNOUNCED SUDDEN STOPS on the InMotion Wheels?

What's the "Why" and "Frequency" of UNANNOUNCED SUDDEN STOPS on the InMotion Wheels?

It's rather scary to read an incident such as this one of many.

Some have said that Kingsong wheels do not do this.

Please inform, explain and educate this new, up and coming EUC rider.

Thank you! 😳😕😎

They are low power wheels (for their speed), there are many around and most riders don't know anything about the max torque over speed limit of the electric motors...

Kingsong do exactly the same thing - but the newer and stronger KS Models need more "enthusiasm" to get "unannounced sudden stops". But there were still enough reports for the KS16X

After seeing that photo I hope new riders read the ‘Anatomy of an Overlean‘ so I don’t throw up my lunch again.:barf:

The short answer is that if u have an older underpowered wheel and u ask it to go over a pothole or accelerate to hard with a decreased battery, the gyro will stop and throw u face down.Newer wheels can do it too but it is a lot harder to achieve .Read the thread for more info. Also buy safety gear!
