yuweng
This ad is here is to provide info for those who are interested in getting a unit but donno how. Many doesn't know that Taobao (me included), currently provide delivery services to Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. The process is actually quite simple, first register a Taobao account & login then go to Gevot store, select either the 18Km or 30Km range, checkout, pay with credit card. You can also directly chat with the store owner with Aliwangwang. Use google chrome to translate page to English. Spoiler As you can see, it is dirt cheap in comparison. It is not a performance wheel, i call it a crusing wheel but it does able to go up steep hill. My Review. Though Its abit hassle but you'll get the cheapest price factory direct . Else you can also try Taobao Agent. Last, i'm not affiliated with Gevot or Taobao, i don't get any referral fees or kick-back if you wanna call that, as mentioned, this is here so that fellow member can get the best deal, Happy Shopping ! Are you making that statement based on experience, or information from the website? The reason I ask is that I seriously doubt that a 500 W motor with a 20" diameter would be able to pull a 120 kg up a steep hill... And, for the record, I make that statement as a rider who has tried to ride up a "moderately" steep hill on a wheel that has a 500 W motor with a 16", carrying a total load of less than 120 kg.

And so does King Song but both product doesn't make it to the market. The Milbay wasn't a King Song product... It was an Australian "mod" built from a King Song wheel.

yuweng
Haha, km measurement i always got confused with either speed or range Yeah, most Chinese EUC factory boost about that. Mine was the 30km range so as it claim, the actual max range i got is about 20km +/- including some speeding & hilly ride however there was one time i went to a carfree day event in the city center, totally flat surface, no speeding as the road is fill up with people, i was able to ride it for about 28km before battery low tilts back. As you mentioned it, slow riding style, weight, terrain & etc all play a part but the Chinese EUC factory always choose to exagerate that figure.
Camenbert
This is (was?) a interesting wheel, so small but with a seat, light and no plastic to break... I like the minimalist design. If I knew I would choose it as a beginner wheel, then later keep it to go, seat relax (my knee hurt), to buy the bread. Or to go to the station as you can obviously use a lock to secure it in place. How is it in 2021, does this still exist ? Any upgrade ? 16S1P 21700 give 300Wh, why is this only 132Wh?!! Last, entry level MCM5, with yet ~300Wh is $500, it will sell if it's not 'too far I have no clue of the current price as i cant find it anymore. As I never saw one, i'm afraid to know... yuweng
It was listed @taobao beginning of this year but now its not there anymore. i've talked to this seller via aliwangwang two years ago, he told me it is just too competitive as the whole taobao is filled with all sort of different types/ design of electric unicycles & there is not alot of profit. i told him his product is unique & even offer to help him to contact world wide EUC dealers/ distributors, he said he will do. It is indeed a nice wheel, on group rides to recreation parks, many fellow KS, IM, GW riders wish they have seats like this where i'm seating chill riding & they have to stand all the way If you are interested you can try to contacting him via aliwangwang. Scottie888
Man my bad if I'm wrong here but this things closest to a sack crusher if I ever saw one. Hit an unintended bump, pothole, rut, root or worse, a jump & I can already imagine the consequences. Its fortunately this device is mfgr'd in China or otherwise, lawsuits galore. Other than that, seems pretty cool to me.

More or less like any other EUC, is it not ?!?! You and I have 14" MCM5 EUC. So you'll be afraid of a bump, pothole or root with a 2.5x20" EUC?? And so far 100% of the EUC are mfgr'd in China so here again I dont see you point relatively to the subject, the Gevot FX8. If your point is 500W motor wont suit 95Kg/200lbs+ riders, well what about InMotion V5, ninebots - or any EUC pre-2016? They were working fine... at lower speed, as this one do. This Gevot FX8 also existed with 210Wh battery/60V. Today, 21700 Samsung 40T are able to deliver continuously 35A Meaning 2100W for 16S1P & 240Wh. That power would be enough for all riders, at good speed, on all common obstacles, even if it won't allow to go very far. So it is not fair to critic the product, the minimalist-no-plastic design is appealing. Only 12Kg!!! Beat that !!! I have friends in Paris living on the 6th floor, with no elevator (quite common) : you can give them the free-of-charge choice between this and a better Wheel that weight the double or triple (not mentioning a Sherman), I have my guess on who win, everyday. What it need is some upgrade (my first question) in order to suit the fat-western-riders that we are or to give a bit more range. But then, on one of the links of yuweng, I saw a price below $300, if I knew!!!! Edited May 9, 2021 by Camenbert

So you'll be afraid of a bump, pothole or root with a 2.5x20" EUC?? I agree they are all devices we ride btwn our legs. The MCM5v2 tops out at the upper shins & my S18 just reach the knees. From the intro vid, the seat of this FX8 goes up somewhere btwn 1/3-1/2 the thigh which I assume is the optimum position. Again from the vid, when seated, the angle of the riders bent knees seems awfully close to the angle of my knees whenever I land off jumps for obvious reason/s. Its possible I might even be lower. Much as in alot of things, the margin btwn safety & danger lies in degrees & the dist of the seat from my sack is enough to give my precious nightmares just envisioning the possibilities. & That's not even taking misadventures into account. Perhaps its my riding style or mayhaps it entails a new riding style for this particular device. I don't know for the obvious reason I haven't ridden it extensively or at all. All's I can do is comment on an observation from my personal POV. I believe I even included (& I quote verbatim) "my bad if I'm wrong here" at the very beginning of my post bcos I don't know. So far, only the mfgr & it seems 1 other person outside of China knows. This device is posted for discussion & you're very welcome to dispute my observations. You're even more welcome to inquire why & how I made my observations. There's no need to freakout &or use labels as some of us might find that somewhat rude. Afterall, you wouldn't want others to do the same to you, would you🤔
