Top safe speed is usually referred to when talking about Gotway’s top speed as it can vary with rider’s weight when the tiltback is removed. On Inmotion the speed is limited with mandatory tiltback to 55 km/h or 50 km/h below 80% battery. That should be the top safe speed for every rider within the stated weight limit, which is 120 kg. The cut off speed when lifted has been measured at 86 km/h. On a lighter rider it should safely go much faster than its limited speed if the tiltback could be removed. I’m quite sure its safe to utilize all the speed they allow. 

Or maybe you mean incidents like with the 16X where some riders reported over leans when accelerating hard even under the stated top limit? I haven’t heard anybody having any issues with over leans yet.

Best thing about these videos from places aroud the world I have never visited is the watching the great people presenting and the enthusiasm they share for the EUC!  Language takes second place to awesome footage of the places where they live be it Russia, China, U.K. Sweden, etc.. Living in N.A. this is really enlightening. 

Nice work Inmotion! Looks like we have an awesome wheel here. Positive vibes all around planet earth. Awesome!

I've asked a few people who have the V11 and they all said that it felt high at first but they quickly adapted and got used to the height and it wasn't an issue.

I am still getting used to the pedal hight when stopped as they are at highest without any weight so its a bigger hop to mount up, but riding is very nice now. I’ve tried to pedal scrape like I could my 16x and v8 but no go yet.

At first I felt high as I used to ride the v10f but after a few weeks it feels normal to me.   I especially like the high pedal height for extra clearance it provides when riding rails with big roots and boulders.

Not really. Obviously it all depends on rider weight, speed etc etc but the KS18XL and KS16X have a similar battery size but manage almost twice that range.  It's all a bit immaterial to me though as I never get close to riding even 60km in a day.

Range as a single number is completely irrelevant. If they’d compare it to 18XL or 84V MSX, it would offer much more value. Depending on how you ride, how much you weigh, and when you consider the range to be done, can triple the available distance.

 Based on what I know about the battery throttling on the V11, it seems that it should get a range somewhere between 18XL and 1600Wh MSX. It does seem though that the only recently available “go home” mode is not all that obvious to the user, so some range tests may not include it, leaving the rider with only a humble range.

This. And the energy consumption grows with speed squared, not linear, so even the relatively small speed difference between going 40 and 50 km/h changes the range noticeably.

Here's the thing: somewhat non-intuitively, the '18' in an 18 x 3 tire is actually bigger than the '18' in a 18 x 2.5 tire, because the '18' in those tire size ratings isn't really the outer diameter nor the rim diameter but rather some arbitrary number somewhere in between, and hence the actual outer diameter is also affected by the tire width/overall girth. (This is not specific/unique to EUCs and is an issue with bicycle tires more broadly.) Hence an 18 x 3 tire has a larger outer diameter than an 18 x 2.5 tire, etc.

There are three possible ways to resolve this in EUC-land (leaving aside the broader debate about standards in the bike world from which we inherit the problem and which realistically we cannot change):

1. Ignore these differences and say that for example an 18 x 2.5 tire and 18 x 3 tire are both just "18 inch wheels". This seems bad because it hides real differences in their relative sizes.
2. Make up a bigger number than 18 when referring to an 18 x 3 to convey its larger size compared to an 18 x 2.5 tire (examples: that YouTuber or everyone at Gotway & Veteran apparently). This answer is worse because you're literally making things up, and worse what is being said/claimed actually explicitly contradicts what's physically printed on the actual tire by the tire manufacturer which is confusing as hell.
3. [What I believe is the best answer] Everyone--the regulars here, major EUC youtubers, etc--should just switch to only referring to tires by their full "A x B" size rating (or "B-A" for moto tires), and NEVER by only the single number 'A'. So an EUC may be an "18x3 wheel" or "18x2.5 wheel" etc, and never just an "18 wheel" or "16 wheel", etc, as the latter terms are misleading by omission and obfuscate the precise attribute (overall size/scale of the tire) which they're trying to convey. I think this is the simplest and most straightforward solution for us in EUC-land; let's make it happen people. :-)

It really matters less. As it still do not say how tall or wide the tire is. As an example look at the Z10.

Wow! This completely upends the conventional wisdom about these two wheels.

V11 is a street cruiser for commuters looking for a smoother ride
S18 is an awesome off-road wheel, that the V11 can't touch due to its higher un-sprung mass

Now,

V11 performs well everywhere

Everyone seemed certain that Chooch would come out strongly in favor of the S18. How many bets were just lost?
