It's been a long time since I bothered looking in the usually useless "manual" that comes with the wheel This looks useful though. Thanks for the reminder 1 hour ago, Mike Sacristan said: I will update my post with this image as well. Recalculated using V-value-63*5. Very useful. Thanks!

Darknessbot assumes 84v-66v and is off by -5% at the beginning and -10% at the end.
Gytis
I try 1.06 and 1.07 and of course stay with 1.05 after all
skautas2003
@Mike Sacristan i think you do not feel so much difference between 1.05 and 1.07 becouse your weight is 69 kg. In my opinion wheel behaves differentialy when rider weight 69 your situation, 82 my situatio and for biger boys 95 kg or more.
Dubardo
How long does it should normally take to upgrade? I've been waiting for almost 2 hours now. (Android 9 from FW 1.06)

Dubardo
I'm on 400mbps. KS website is slow sometimes, downloading the App took a hour last time (they must be on dialup)
EUC Custom Power-Pads
There must be something wrong with your connection to China. I downloaded right now the 62MB Android App in 90 seconds.

I was passing a guy on a scooter today and I accelerated a bit. I hit 48 kmh. I got 45 kmh speed alarm + please decelerate + soft tiltback and also 4 beeps for 88% power alarm all at the same time haha.
Dubardo
Fixed it, I downgraded KS app from 3.1.9 to 3.1.4 and it seems to be working now (i uninstalled the app first)
Gytis
Upgrade my wheel from 1.05 to 1.07. Thanks God have chance roll back to 1.05. Every Kingsong promoter has to be honest and do not call "soft" acceleration when wheel just do not respond to pedal push...
Popular Post Mike Sacristan
I tried the "riding mode" or medium mode yesterday and it reminded me a lot of that extra zip that was in 1.05 hard mode. I can also feel when leaning on the pedals that they yield a bit more than the hard mode on 1.07 but less than the hard mode on 1.05. This was also evident while hitting an unseen bump because I got that "the wheel is stopping but my body is continuing forward feeling". So for those who do upgrade to 1.07 I recommend they try the medium mode.
Popular Post EUC Custom Power-Pads
Now that you're bringing up this subject, I wanted also to write something about it. Meanwhile I'm not sure anymore if my 16X had a broken control board (V1.4) from the beginning, because last week I even had a lot fun in soft-mode (with new board V1.5), although I didn't get along with the old board and soft-mode at all. It felt like I was standing on an old sofa. Of course I'm talking about the same firmware 1.0.7 on both boards. My impression is the following: Board 1.4 (compared to V1.5) Soft-Mode = really to soft and useless Medium-Mode = medium Hard-Mode = medium/hard Board 1.5 (compared to V1.4) Soft-Mode = medium Medium-Mode = hard Hard-Mode = very hard

Corresponds quite well with that i'm feeling between the 1.05 FW and the 1.07 FW. I don't know what board I have but my wheel has always behaved perfectly minus the battery connector incident which shouldn't be related. When I was on the hard mode on FW 1.05 and I braked hard or accelerated hard I could make the wheel vibrate. I can't do this on FW 1.07 Hard mode but I can do it a tiny bit on FW 1.07 medium mode. This leads me to believe that the FW 1.07 medium mode is a bit harder than the FW 1.05 hard mode. Just got back from a 65km ride on medium mode and it was some of the best fun I have had in a while. The 16X did half of the work for me lmao. I think the "experient" mode (experienced / experiment?) is a bit misleading regarding the name because the elitists/narcissists in us will want to use the most "advanced" mode.

Absolutely....next time try soft-mode and let me know what you think. 37 minutes ago, Mike Sacristan said: The 16X did half of the work for me lmao. That exactly what I thought on the last ride. I was sick, but I really wanted to ride. So I started in hard-mode, stoped after a few kilometers, switched to medium-mode, ride....few kilometers later I stoped again in switched to soft-mode and was surprised how easy it was to glide to the next City. It was a really nice comfortable 50 km ride. Not so nice was the fact that I started with 55% battery instead of planned 90% and only noticed that when I was at the goal. For the first time I had not paired my mobile phone and had not informed myself about the battery status. I just wondered, that I heard so fast and often "please decelerate". Nice that my wife picked me up 3 km before my home, after I had arrived at 0%. Anyway, I couldn't complain! 26 km/h AVG with 55% capacity and 53 km range (78kg rider weight, 7°C, 27 psi). Popular Post Unventor
Well yesterday I rode my KS16X for the first time in weeks. It was a bit shaky in the beginning but since I were late I had little choice to push forward. It is a bit hard to explain but when going very slow it feels and sounded like a miss alignment in a gear box. But once I go above 10kmh it goes away. It started doing this after fw 1.07. At first I thought something was wrong, but now it just makes me think it is the power and magnets that makes the sound. Today I went to an outdoor mall/outlet shopping centre. The slower than walking is just amazing and I find this very fun. It seems to bring a lot of smiles in general. Some seems to give that "you are not allowed here" stare, then I just go even slower and most of the time the stare disappears. I simply love that slow navigation fun, and the mc lean style at speeds. I am so looking forward for spring. So far I have done just about 500km on my KS16X. My V10F is the rainy day and winter wheel. That works fine. But the KS16X is just better in everything but weight. I just had so much fun despite it was a very short and slow ride today.
