V10 / V10F EUC - wheel / rim bent from potholes - corrective actions

Dear all I am starting this subject cause I noticed my Inmotion V10F has small wobbles in the metallic rim. Most likely the rims are damaged because of the potholes. My EUC is pretty new and used only on paved and pedestrian roads - aprox 900 Km. I have aprox 100Kg and again did not use the wheel for off-road or jumping - normal riding only. I put it on a side and spin the wheel freely. It seems to be deformed in several places, but these defects cannot be cached on camera (just the bigger ones per the attached videos bellow). Mine is probably just not that bad. But if I had to change the tire I would need to make it straight or replace with a new one. The rim is not bent on both sides at the same location. On the LH side (in the FWD direction of the EUC) the rim is bent on the valve area. On the RH side the rim is bent in another area.

Can you sport the same defect on yours?

If you had this problem how did you correct it?

Can it be corrected only with the wheel removed?

There are V10 EUCs here that have over 2000 km, did you check the rims?

Let me know what you think.

Do you feel a wobble/bumps when riding from the bends? If you feel nothing, it's not a problem, you can leave it like it is. If you feel a wobble or small bumps when riding from this, that means the rim needs to be bent back.

You can use a bench vice to carefully bend the rim back into shape, if necessary.

Did you ride on low tire pressure? The only way I can explain the damage is if you were riding on very low tire pressure. The "good" pressure range is given on the tire side wall. Maybe you were below that? Riding with the right tire pressure should protect you from such damage. (Well, sometimes bad luck can happen or you get a bad motor, but in general bent rims are rare with EUCs.)

Here's an example thread about bent rims (with links to other such threads), maybe the info helps you:

Tire pressure always 3 bar. On the side wall the tire it says max 2.8 and 75 Kg load. I guess it s just not fluffy friendly. I never abused it there where some potholes but nothing major. The rim is integrated in the motor. A damaged rim means motor replacement. In motion USA says the motor is 320 dollars shipment not included. Also I dont feel any vibrations I do not intent to repair unless I have the motor disassembled. The wheel is made out of bent sheet of metal. It is my senzation it not a unybody design. Much like a cheap wheel on a car. I must check and see if I can mount it on a tool used to correct bends in car rims. It look impossible to repair with the mounted motor. EUC must be disassemble. Most probably at tire replacement.
