mrelwood
You can learn and have fun with a V5F, and most importantly, find out if this is a hobby you’d like to actually invest in. But you must be aware of and consider the wheels limits as you ride. If you try to accelerate anywhere near as fast as you see in pretty much all Youtube videos, you will crash. And if you hit a bump or a pothole riding 30km/h, you will quite likely crash as well. The wheel just doesn’t have the power to keep you upright in demanding situations. But that absolutely doesn’t mean that it can’t be a fun thing to learn and ride at running speeds. Just gear up your corners.
dmpatanis
What do you suggest me to buy at 400euros?
mrelwood
You won’t get a modern wheel for 400€, no way around that. In my understanding the V5F is a decent starter/learner wheel, although I do have strong personal feelings against 14” wheels. Perhaps you can try to search for a used Inmotion V8? Or a KingSong 16C? Or even a Gotway ACM, unless it looks abused.
