Most I can manage is 9 in 28 seconds.
With plenty of time to spare - so I just need to work out how to stop getting dizzy, I don't think my narrow garden and flagstone flooring is helping.

Video to follow once I can last the whole 60 seconds!

All right! That means 36 per minute on the Mten3!

Seriously, I am surprised you can maintain such a high rate of turn on a big wheel. That is 3 sec per rotation.

Don't be shy: just post. We just want to have a good time...

As @pico says, post even if you can't beat his score. It's fun entertainment

And yeah, the first half is relatively easy. It's the second half that separates the men from the boys

My effort is on the Mten3, If I can keep the speed up (which I doubt) it'll be about 21 rotations in 60 seconds.

Yeah, I thought you were on an Mten3. You need to update your Profile - it only shows the Nikola.

Hell, I can do 4 super-fast, and if I keep it up I can do 30 rotations :)  A big if

Did I read somewhere about only 2 entries per person?
Thats why i'm holding off.......

This is just fun. No limits as far as I'm concerned.

Lol. Funny thing, that was my first attempt - after that I moved the camera.

Here’s my further attempts.

Excellent! Fun to watch!  I just threw up for you!:barf:

You do have a confined area to work with. Does your wife keep you trapped like me?;)

Yes. Basically

Thurs night I took out the new (used) msx

fri night spent dismantling the msx

Sat night - Playing with the Mten3 - I daren’t leave the garden!!

Im going to try somewhere with plain flooring and put a cone on the floor - then just focus on the cone and go round and round... that’s my next plan anyway.

That was hilarious. A+ for effort

May I make a suggestion? The fact that you are getting pedal scrapes should raise a red flag. I rarely scrape my pedals. And I can see why you are - your tire pressure is way too low. I would fill the tire to ~35psi.

Sometimes when it's been awhile since I've ridden my Mten3, the pedal will touch during a sharp turn and I immediately know that the pressure is low and I need to add more air. A firm tire on the Mten3 makes turning effortless and scrape free - your poor Mten3 pedals :crying:

Haha. Thanks.

That did cross my mind - but it’s not until you see it back on video you can see how squished the tyre is.

Dont worry about the pedals - it’s if the patio slabs, if I damage them I’ll be in trouble!!

Ill give the 35psi a go tomorrow. Cheers

New rule! Everyone’s tire pressure must be at 35psi. Start over!:P

I met up with some friends to practice today and I got way to dizzy after only 30 seconds!
I will have to get back to you guys. :efee612b4b:

30 seconds will work. Just sit on your wheel and guzzle a beer for the remainder!

Here are some of my terrible attempts from yesterday.
Hmm.. maybe if I close my eyes.

Or maybe I should try it with my Ninebot and not the 16X which i've only been on for 3 days now.

Excellent job!!  Wow larger wheels and a stick in hand!

If you’d used a Mten3 and hired Rent a Friend  to hold the camera ;) you easily could have had more reverse spins.

You certainly have the necessary skills, just not the stomach :laughbounce2:

May help if you're not holding the camera and try to focus on objects in the distance for as long as possible while you're turning.

Haha I tried looking at the camera, a distant object, the ground, the sky, etc.
I will give it a shot with the Ninebot but I doubt there will be much difference.
I do love challenges though.. so I will continue to practice. I can get like 5-6 spins in 30 seconds. Then I get way too dizzy.
And I need to spin tighter and faster!

We will be back!

Are we closing the competition for now before I destroy my Mten3 !!!!  ?

I keep my last tally for myself... Until the next contest!

Hilarious. Your poor Mten3 was also dizzy :laughbounce2:

Oh, and the contest is certainly not closed. I'm still hoping to tie or beat your 17, but I need more practice.
