Circuitmage
Just posting this here as it was a new thing for me to experience, having only a couple years under my belt. After changing the tube on my 18L I noticed the wheel had a significant, but not a dangerous wobble. I know I put it back together correctly, with all bolts torqued down. After a few days it occurred to me to check the tire (was thinking it might just work itself out at first). No pictures, but the tire was slightly off center after re-inflation...about 1/8 of an inch over about 4 inches on one side. Not good! Having had the KS 16S and the KS 18L now, I do know that there is a big difference on the tire tightness. My 16S was much tighter on the hub than the 18L is, hence something else to be careful of when re-inflating. Even after deflating, adjusting tire, and re-inflating, I had about 1/16" off center on one side. Not surprising as the tire is fairly loose on the hub with no tube in it...it comes off very easily. Now, my ride is much much smoother though. Edited July 18, 2019 by Circuitmage
