V8 battery after 8200km report

Hi euc enthusiasts...

I just measured my original V8 battery that came with the EUC and now after 8200km and several hundred recharges every cell group shows exactly the same voltage. Not even off by 0.01v. I gotta say I'm impressed.

I measured all 20 of them. The battery is always charged by the original charger that outputs ~84.5v. I've been riding all year around in snow and in rain, from -20C to 35C. The mileage at -20C is severely reduced to around 2/3 but it always come back when it gets warmer.

If the bms isn't balancing the cells this would be quite extraordinary, don't you think?

I reckon I still have around 90% of the original mileage left.

The cells are LG MH1 if anyone was wondering. They are dirt cheap 2nd hand so I'm building a 60 cell pack with remaining good cells from a second V8 battery.

Hello, yesterday was the 1st time I actually connected my v8 to wheel log and It was giving me different voltages when the wheel was not being moved. Is this the state of my cells in the battery? If so how much longer do I need to keep it on the charger. Does this apply to other wheels too because I'm getting the same effect from my gotway. I normally deal with lipo batteries and can balance my cells without a bms.

I didn't understand: what was different compared to what? When the wheel is moving, the voltage is changing all the time and it is different to the voltage when the wheel rests.

I maybe miss wording it. Say you have a 8s1p  battery.  Fast charging it would bring 5 or six cell to 4.1/4.2
volts vs balance charging it bringing all cells to 4.1/4.2 volts. Is the screen giving me info on cells way below the rest? like a volt meter does when you hook it up to the balance cable.

I've been getting inner tube punctures a lot lately and I thought 8200km for the original tire must be the reason. It seems it wasn't the tire.

It's the god damn inner tube that needs replacing after a while. I think the rubber is stressed by putting 70kg on it and compressing the tire so much sometimes.

Get an inner tube that is specifically for 2.125inch tires (maybe even a 2.5inch). That way it doesn't stretch when it's inflated and it can then last longer as it's not stressed as much. I have two 1.95 inch inner tubes and one 1.95+2.125 one. The 1.95s are way too small and the hybrid is a bit too small. Whenever you patch a too small inner tube or run a small innertube (even within spec like 1.95-2.125) you stretch the tube and it becomes prone to stress failure. The patches are stressed. It's not good. Get a larger inner tube.

Easier said than done as they are hard to find with angled valves.

I have been using different types of tubes without angled valves and they all worked on the V8.

WOW, my tires get barely 4000km until I really feel the urgent need to change them.

The charge status is 56%, which is the status when each cell has about 3.7V, multiplied by 16 is 59.2V, which is exactly what we see. I swear I didn't compute these numbers starting from the result, they are just by accident so extremely close to the displayed voltage. So I can see nothing wrong here.
