1kw
Need to tighten one pedal side... How to get to that bolt on wire side?
dmethvin
Are you sure you need to tighten the hub nut? They are usually set to the right tension at the factory and soft metal shims are driven in to be sure it doesn't loosen.Or do you mean your pedal is loose and you need to tighten that so it won't flap down? What model is this?
Gimlet
Not all eucs have the wedges to hold the nuts tight. Only bots as far as I know.I use a monkey wrench to hold the frame and a socket with a slot ground down one side to allow the wire to hang out one side. It's a good idea to take the nuts off and put some Locktite on the threads to stop them loosening off in future. jayjay23
@1kw, I've never searched for larger motors, I think I've seen some on manufacturer pages, but it didn't catched may eyes on any of the 'normal' chinese seller pages. I can only tell you that microworks also sells the shells and pedal+bar separately, so you can finally build a complete wheel.
