andremichelle
Hi all, my v10f just stopped booting this morning. It does not react to any input. Symptoms: The charger shows a green light (power cable is connected) The brake light of the wheel is permanently on Pressing the on-switch (short or long) does not show any reaction The app does not find the wheel The wheel is basically dead. Any help is appreciated.
andremichelle
Also worth mentioning: Latest firmware has been installed last year. I also tried to hold the power-down button for a longer while to force some magic. No luck.
meepmeepmayer
Maybe it's just this: On 7/3/2019 at 4:01 AM, hyperair said: Try power cycling it -- unplug the battery (yellow XT60 connector and 5- or 7-pin JST SM wire connector), wait a few seconds for the green light on the controller to fade, and plug the battery back in. From another thread where a V8 stopped working. Apparently sometimes the IM wheels can freeze and you have to perform the equivalent of pulling the power cord and plugging it back in again to hard reset a frozen wheel. There are several Inmotion V10 disassembly videos on Youtube if you need to look how to get to the battery connector. Also ask your seller, this is the kind of thing a seller knows best. Yes, I do not want to open the wheel. Might break the warranty. No feedback yet from the seller though.

I would refer also to my experience here. It wasn't complicated, but there were complications. Other wheels don't do this.
Meserias
even most advanced phone and latest, server, cloud rig or laptop...has a way to RESET. these wheels are running software...they should have something like this in my opinion.
andremichelle
Exactly one year later and I have the same situation. It cost me a fortune last time (next service is 40km away) and I cannot believe I have to do it again.

FreeRide
Just open the wheel this time and cycle the power. That won't affect any real warranty issues.
