Lefteris
Don't forget to take proper breaks and drink lots of liquid cause it is summer. When your trip is available on euc.world don't forget to post it here so we can follow your progress live when you are using the wheel and offline when you are not

Definitely it requires good fitness and endurance, but it's doable for experienced EUC rider. Main problem is foot pain, but this is manageable. Making 10 , you can ride day after day. I was making from 95 to 150 km per day (5 to 7 hours of standing on EUC). However last two days my feet (especially heels) felt like it was on fire. Finally I made 855 km during 7 days and I think I could ride for another two or three days without a day off.

UniVehje
You are giving me inspiration! I think I’ll follow my plans and do something similar this summer. Not this much but maybe 300 km within a week and 60-80 km per day.

It's a GREAT experience, I'm pretty sure you will enjoy it very much. In fact it's very addictive - when you complete your first EUC tourist ride, you will crave to start another. EUC riding is addictive enough, but EUC touring is a whole new level of EUC experience. 3
Lefteris
There goes @Seba the man that creates a new addiction for us EUC riders I am already considering a trip this fall around Attica/Athens Greece (circling it) and for the next i'm thinking of going to Peloponisos
Popular Post Seba
855 km from north o south of Poland on KS-18XL - DONE! 38 hours of EUC ride in total. Seven days, from 95 to almost 150 km a day. In full sun and during severe heatwave of over 35 °C (over 95 °F), what is very rare for Poland. King Song KS-18XL performed very well without any overheat, even when riding on a 17 % uphill road. This wheel definitely proved that it's capable for riding in mountain areas even when it's hot outside. I used my quick charger that I set to 7.5 A (1.5 A when charging overnight). Daily ride records (including photos and wheel parameters): Day #1 - 122 km - https://euc.world/tour/576076738648053 Day #2 - 122 km - https://euc.world/tour/576111314713114 Day #3 - 122 km - https://euc.world/tour/576144778662322 Day #4 - 96 km - https://euc.world/tour/576175246802338 Day #5 - 122 km - https://euc.world/tour/576205613985143 + https://euc.world/tour/576208587156364 + https://euc.world/tour/576214091622178 (fragmented and incomplete because smartphone hangups due to intensive sunlight and very high outside temperature) Day #6 - 149 km - https://euc.world/tour/576238791110079 Day #7 - 123 km - https://euc.world/tour/576270604293199 You can find photos from this trip here - https://www.facebook.com/pg/NaJednymKole/photos/?tab=album&album_id=2044750112500998 Feel free to ask if you have any questions. UniVehje
How much gear did you carry and was it difficult to have it on your back? Did you have a good plan for the ride? Where did you sleep and eat?

Did you have a good plan for the ride? Where did you sleep and eat? I was geared with Deuter ACT Trail Pro 34 backpack and Jack Wolfskin Cross Run 2 belly bag. Belly bag was holding most important items - wallet, power bank, energy cereal bars and gels, smartphone with Komoot app for navigation and water to drink. Rest was carried in backpack. It wasn't easy to carry such heavy backpack, but it also was not a source of any pain. I started to plan my ride six months before it started, but I can't say if it was a good plan Definitely there was no alternate plan in case of something going bad... and there was no need for such plan Now I can say there is nothing to plan differently than for a regular bike tour. You just need to take into account limited carrying capability (for me 15 kg is max) and remember about charging stops. I was staying in a hotels that I booked with advance, but was eating in restaurants found during ride. There was no problem with charging during eating, no one ever denied me possibility to charge my EUC. Look of a man on a unicycle is so unusual that I always experienced great hospitability. 4

I think after a two weeks of everyday riding (it was about 300-400 km) I was feeling quite comfortable and confident. Just ride and ride often. Try to replace your car, train, bus or tram with EUC as often as you can. Comfort, fitness, endurance and skill will come with practice.

I finally did it. Started with riding about 215 km in three days. Longest was around 90 km on one day (today). Easy, could have gone even longer. 18xl did fine without charging on breaks and speed was pretty fast. Heels were the first body part to start to ache. You were right, I did enjoy it very much and I’m already craving to start another. Planned a couple of longer trips already. It’s a great feeling to just go without thinking about turning back. Great! It's a very good to start from shorter daily distances, so your body can get used to ride. Think about getting custom-fitted insoles (search for nearby ski bootfitting services) and try shoes with hard, possibly flat soles. And with each long ride you will become more and more fit for longer rides When I started on my KS-18L, making a 60 km trip was a big thing. Few days ago I did 214 km in one day and the only limiting factor was lack of time and daylight... https://euc.world/tour/577799012031245 17 hours ago, UniVehje said: You were right, I did enjoy it very much and I’m already craving to start another. ir_fuel
I'm impressed by the amount of stuff you carry. I once rode 40km with a 15kg backpack and after 30km it really started hurting on my shoulders. Can't imagine doing double that.

It's matter of fitness and body preparation - it comes with time and experience. As you'll ride, you will get used to riding with backpack. Just make a small steps and ride regularly. It shouldn’t hurt your shoulders if you have a good backpack and weight distributed on you hips correctly. If you carry the weight on your shoulders then it will hurt.

Halig
Thank you for sharing the exciting journey. I want to make one but what worries me the most is the punctures. I have put in Notubes anti-puncture fluid, but ... how do you manage punctures?
