Planemo
The simplest things can make life far easier... So the story is: went out for a ride, came up to a zebra crossing to cross over, looked at oncoming traffic and made the belief that the car was going to stop. At the last moment it didn't look like he was going to so a rather abrupt and messy dismount ensued, with me jumping off and grabbing the wheel just managing to catch it before it fell over, half of it poking into the road. I was carrying something in one of my hands (cant remember what) which made everything more of a fluster. It leant over far enough that one of the footplates folded up and during this messy process I had (unknown to me at the time) managed to turn the wheel off when I grabbed it. You can see where this is going.... So there I was, with the original car now stopped (which it was going to all along) as well as a queue of cars now behind it as well as a queue on the opposite side, all of whom appeared to be showing a mix of anger and laughter at my faffing at the side of the road. I managed to get the footplate back down which wasn't easy given I was trying to hold two things and the plate was for my non-dominant foot. I always hold the wheel with my dominant (left) hand so now had to pass the wheel and object across to my right hand so I could use my left hand to get the plate down. I then hastily go to jump back on and...find out the wheel is off. So it falls on it's side and the queuing drivers are now starting to lose their sense of humour. I decide to wave them on whilst I try to blend into the surrounding bushes out of embarrassment but they carried on sitting there, presumably thinking that they would be better off letting the mental case cross the road with his strange transportation device than leave him gibbering in the bushes. I turn the wheel back on and eventually make it across the road, trying not to make eye contact but giving the thumbs up to both sides. Get home and decide this isn't happening again so I order some of Luk's pedal openers and a power switch cover plate. Due to a minor delay in despatch, Luk was kind enough to add a pair of the trolley stand mods as well. This wasn't expected or requested so big thanks to him for the kind gesture. What a gent. I got the openers and cover plate fitted today and what simple, effective ideas they really are. I can open both plates easily with my feet and now there's no way of brushing the power button to turn the wheel off - you have to deliberately put your thumb into the recess to activate the button. Brilliant! I haven't used the trolley stands yet but I have fitted them - they went on with just the right amount of friction - no screws, glue or anything else needed. So a big thumbs up from me - every Z owner should have these mods and that includes you @Stephen and @R2! Cheers @Luk!

And I definitely need the power button mod ,, constantly switching it off😬 it also acts as a light sensor so it doesn't switch your main beam off when car lights hit it, the stands i will use because it does fall over due to more weight on one side , or outside on a windy day it falls over, i also bought the power socket @Lukasz newest mod ,I'll make that into a little adapter or maybe just put it on the 3/6 amp charger which @Lukasz helped me purchase. Thx @Planemo for waking me up at 4am😂😂 they do look good though now get another picture taken of the wheel stood on the trolley bracket mod😊
Guest PogArt Artur
Thanks @Planemo for interesting story tale I felt in your shoes reading it Not nice feeling at all, was it The first thing I did, was the power button mod, not as pro looking as Luk's design, but does the job for now. I wish I could order the trolley handle stand from Luk and the pedal's kick opener, but I couldn't figure out how to contact Luk yet. I've sent an email two weeks ago, (from youtube) but Luk has never responded to it. Guys, how did you contact Luk please?
Planemo
Pog, try both PM via the forum and also email him at: a64ATinteria.pl (use ampersand) Stephen I havent fitted the trolley yet but can get a pic anyway. It wasnt abundantly obvious how/where they fitted (you will see what I mean when you get them!)

Planemo
Oh I had got them on OK mate after a few mins headscratching. I knew they went on the bottom somewhere but the cutouts in them along with the cutouts in the trolley were a bit confusing for my simple brain haha
