Segway ES2 steering column

Hi out there....

My segway ES2 steering has become somewhat wobbely. The scooter has travelled about 200km. The problem was notices after about 50-75 km.

If I hold the front wheel steady with my feet I am able to turn the handlebars about 5-10degrees without the front wheel moving.

I suspect the plastic steering bushing inside the column?How do I diagnose that this is the error, and where would I be able to buy a sparepart?

I own a 3d printer and a spare part on thingiverse seems to be available. But I have no clue about the durability of a printes part or what filament would be the safest. I would hate to end up in a accident because of a part failure at full speed :-(

Is this a common failure at this early point in lifespan of the es2?
