Hi all,

As a newbie ECU rider of 2 weeks I've been chatting to couple of forum members (PogArt Artur and Stephen) who live locally and we've now arranged a meet up in Lister Park, Bradford at 11am on Fri 17th May.

It's intended to be just a friendly ride/chat and make new friends so if anyone else wants to join us they are most welcome.

If you are interested in coming along give us a shout here :)

Cheers

Peter

I've been checking train times and there is an arrival at Frizinghall at 11.05 am, I'll be on that so should be at the park about 11.10 give or take a couple of minutes.

Can we meet at the formal gardens in front of the hall? I'm not sure which is the main entrance and if we meet at the hall the first there can at least do a bit of riding while waiting for me :)

The main entrance's gate are the ones you'll pass through to enter the park, if you'll be heading from Frizinghall @Gasmantle :)

We'll meet, don't worry :)

It can be at gardens, no problem at all :)

I'm guessing it'll be at least 10min rolling from that train station, be very careful, though, in Bradford cyclists are deer alike on hunting season :)

You can get on bus, though...

The bus shelter is just at the street, where you'll be going out of train station.

Services 622,626 and 680 - all of them stopping right the main entrance :)

£2.50 ticket one way (£4.50 day rider,if you planning use the bus back to Frizinghall).

See you soon!

Hi, I'm happy to get the train, it's convenient and only costs a few quid for the short journey I'm making. I've had a look on google maps and should only take me about 5 mins from the station.

I know you'll be getting on train my friend :)

I just pointed out, you can use the bus if you'd prefer, instead of rolling on your own to the park :)

I'm must be crap regarding my EUC skills, lol :)

If you'll make that distance in 5min, it might be even 15min in my case lol :)

As I told you before, you're born EUC rider dear friend :)

That's great!

See you Friday :)
