Preston Palmer
New KS18XL and noticed that my Motor and Battery temp are blank in the app, as well as pressure sensors A and B. I'm running firmware 1.12 and the latest app from the IOS App store. Is anyone else having the same problem? Suggestions?
TomOnWheels
Did you upgrade your KS to the latest firmware version ? It seems to me like your app and wheel version are not aligned...

Scubadragonsan
I recently upgraded KingSong firmware 1.1 to 1.12 and had the weirdest thing happened to the wheel. After upgrading, I took it out for a ride. As I was standing on the foot paddles, the paddles would tilt up as if they want to throw me backward. Being a somewhat experienced rider, I leaned forward to compensate this. Then I started to ride downhill, the paddles tilted forward and almost throw me out forward. The forces of gravity and paddles tilt forward really have taken over my experience. So I had to dismount. To fix this problem, I re-did the horizontal calibration on a flat surface as this was suggested by KS's new firmware instructions. Viola, fixed! Anyone with this experience?
kasenutty
Mine was popping a serious wheelie after firmware too. I saw it right away and did a calibration and it was fine. I never tried to ride it like that
Electric Dexterity
@Preston Palmer My app shows the same thing. For me, the "kingsong_NEW" app (the one with the blue background that you have in your screenshot) has never shown battery temp. It used to show motor temp, but the application was updated last week (iOS App Store shows version 1.3) and now I just see dashes for both motor temp and battery temp. I haven't had any problems otherwise, I just assumed there was a bug in the application causing this. I just checked my wheel with the old app (the one with the white background) and it shows motor temp, pressure sensor A normal, and pressure sensor B normal. As far as I can tell there is no area in the old app for battery temp. It looks like this old app is not listed on the iOS App Store anymore. Hi Preston, about bluetooth issues, there is compatiblity issues. At the begining, our APP are designed on the latest version of Android/IOS system published in December, 2018. Also our tester used the latest Android/IOS system mobile phone, so when we release it to public, some bluetooth firmware in old Android/IOS version would connect with wheel unstably. After people feedback their Android/IOS version, we had fixed this imcompatibility issues by releasing Android V3.1.0 and IOS V1.2 version. About your disconnecting problems on IOS, can you provide more details to me or to email support@szkingsong.com? like record a short screen video on your IOS phone, so that we can know which steps it's stuck. Thank you in advance!
Preston Palmer
@Micheal Shen I am using an iPhone X with most current IOS and most current KS App. My KS18XL firmware is also fully up to date. When connecting with the app, the wheel beeps repeatedly as the connection is gained and lost. Then over time it will stop beeping all together. Then if I can still see the KS in the app when I search devices, I can click connectent and it will not do so. Other times I cannot see the KS in the app AT all, its as if the bluetooth device has vanished. All the while I can play music just without issues. I will try to send a video to you as requested. Unventor
I am using Samsung Note 8 with android 9.0. I keep getting that the KS App chrashed. About 10ish times each day. I am currently running app version 3.1.1. As for connecting issues, I don't have any, beside the app crashing ever so frequent.

Maybe this is feature for KS-16X, as this app is for all current KS wheels. But of course it should display motor temperature.
