It's normal that if you first turn your wheel off and then stop CSV logging or tour tracking, last data won't be available (so displayed as -). Yep just checked thanks for that So now I don't need to ever press the 'record tour' button on the app because it will always automatically start up GPS from within the app? Not a problem if it does as I think it's great data and 99% of the time I will always want it on anyway, I am just thinking of times when my phone battery is really low and I don't want GPS on to save power... Popular Post DjPanJan
Long time since I use eucworld I have in the main such idea for an interesting feature. I wonder your opinion. For a simple increase in privacy and security and anonymity for riders. And the ability to hide the last and first 1km / mile (or optional). This can avoid stalking and threatening the privacy of EUC owners who share the route publicly. And I aways forget to run eucworld far away from the house. For those like me, I turn on everything at home and take my gear and go for a ride, But then unfortunately I can not calmly publish the ride because I initially thought of privacy. Then I "can not" participate in the tables and charts on eucworld so I could fully.

In the wintertime, I wear snowboarding gloves, with wrist guards. They're a pain to take off, so I don't unless it's absolutely necessary. Starting and stopping my route just isn't worth the difficulty, especially when I just wanna ride. Another possibility is to set up some sort of privacy zone. I'm envisioning a bubble surrounding work and home, inside of which no route is recorded. Makes me a tiny bit nervous how the start and stop points are OBVIOUSLY coming from the only house within a 1/4 mile. Of course, if i dont publish the ride at all, this wont happen. Even with omitting the first and last km, its painfully easy to tell out here. Having the option to rename the tours helps, and if it can be set to NOT show streets and only terrain data helps too. In the end, I fear that having privacy AND publishing tours, may be a bit of any oxymoron. I'm on a mortgage, have public utilities and enough a trail, privacy is just a myth anyhow. Its going to be interesting to see where this app goes, and how all of these compromises are managed. I'd imagine that allowing too much tour editing, also poses serious problems.

It would be good if the recording started as normal so the user can see full stats, but if a 'bubble' could be applied for public viewers that would be excellent. Maybe the bubble could be set at the users wishes - 1km/2km diameter for example.
.....
Awesome work on the map seba! I like the changes to the heat map, much easier to read w/o rider icons. Oddly, I cant get my settings on the tours to go from that wretched kmh to the wonderful mph. No big deal, just something I noticed. thanks! Both DarknessBot and EUC World won't support King Song wheels that has been manufactured for domestic, Chinese market. And in case of EUC World no VPN will change it, as EUC World is using own firmware server located in Poland. It's completely irrelevand from what IP address you'll try to connect. Target market is encoded in serial number, so to "fool" both DarknessBot or EUC World one should change serial number to "international" one. I was able to adjust my Chinese KS16x settings on darknessbot but not eucworld. Shame cause I prefer eucworld.

Crap I updated darknessbot and can't anymore. Looks like in a recent update he fixed KS serial code issue. Probably what allowed me to adjust the settings before. Any chance you could implement that bug 🤗. I feel like I'm stuck with a brick wheel and had no idea KS changed its policy. I bought it from a guy in Philly.... Open EUC World app. Open settings by tapping at three dots icon in the top right part of screen. Tap Tour tracking settings. Open Tour visibility and select Visible to anyone. Remember - if you have enabled Start tour when wheel is connected, tour will be always tracked in private mode regardless of tour visibility setting. So if you want to make your tour public, uncheck Start tour when wheel is connected and start tour tracking manually. At any time later you can change your tour visibility on euc.world website.

.....
Yes. All my apps are now set to mph, as with my tours (when I can). I'm sure most of my problems can be attributed to user error. All is good for now. I seem to be able to get the beeps at 29mph and gentle tiltback at 31. This was before my battery got low. I think I recall seeing 25mph tiltback when I left here with less than half battery charge. I'd say its all working and your optimized battery gauge showed 3% as i was JUST about to make that zero on the custom batt settings. In the end, I left it at optimized. Can't complain about EUCW at all. I can complain that my new droid lost its power button already, even before a useable battery could arrive. Ah, the joys of cheap chinese electronics and devices...
Popular Post Seba
1.0.9 UPDATE IS AVAILABLE IN GOOGLE PLAY I'm happy to announce that new EUC World release is now available in Google Play store. As with previous versions, this contains many new features and improvements: Full Gotway support. This version brings Gotway support that has been written from scratch and include all features found in original, OEM Gotway app. More, you can set up tiltback speed up to 75 km/h if only wheel supports it. You can also calibrate wheel, switch LEDs modes etc. Full King Song support that was introduced in 1.0.6 was further improved. With new custom actions you can now control speaker volume and multimedia, you can also turn wheel off. Enforce regulatory compliance custom action can be used to safely and quickly enforce speed limit to 20 km/h, to make EUC compliant with local regulations. As with any other custom action, it can be assigned to Flic button, smartwatch screen tap/button press or phone main screen tap. This will work with King Song, Gotway and Inmotion. Several new custom actions, including tour tracking control (start/stop, pause/resume), CSV logging (start/stop), wheel locking/unlocking, turning off wheel/motor and mulimedia control in latest King Song wheels. In King Song and Gotway wheels you can now activate persistent headlamp mode. It will automaticaly restore previously used headlamp mode on subsequent app start. Lowest priority speed alarm can be replaced with prealarm. In prealarm mode there is only repeating beep, there is no "Slow down!" voice alert, prealarm doesn't break voice reports and doesn't cause played music volume to be lowered. It's very handy in case you want to have a prealarm indicating that you're approaching alarm speed (set with medium priority speed alarm). Screen orientation can be fixed in one of four modes. This is especially useful for anyone using phone with wristband or armband, or using phones like Lemfo. Moving your arm/hand won't cause app to constantly switch screen orientation. Split-screen support. Basic split-screen support has been added, so now you can see two apps at the same time. For example, you can use Komoot/Google Maps for navigation and EUC World for ride control. Improved battery level readout. Now you can enable battery level averaging to filter-out momentary changes caused by varying battery load. There is also new, experimental metering mode that should reduce effect of battery load variations on battery level readout. This won't affect battery level voltage-to-percents mapping. Status bar now goes brown to indicate that tour tracking is active while normal operation. Voice reports are improved by adding tour tracking and CSV logging status to periodic reports. Also custom actions are confirmed by appropriate voice prompt, so you know if headlamp is on, off etc. There are also other new features and improvements over previous version. Now I will focus on finishing Samsung watch support that was delayed by work on King Song and Gotway support. So next update will bring companion app for Samsung Tizen smartwatches. It will also bring exciting new feature that I'm sure will be loved by many of you. But let it be a surprise... SUPPORT EUC WORLD AND BECOME A PREMIUM USER While EUC World application and website is free for everyone, EUC World maintenance and development is a substantial cost for me. To make entire project constantly running and always top-notch, constant support from EUC World users is needed. As this is a niche project with limited user base and majority of users doesn't even know about this forum, I decided to add "Support EUC World" option to application and add corresponding dialog. I hope that this will make more users to be aware of possibility to support application they use and love. Over entire year, only 3% of active users ever decided to give any support for EUC World. But if only every fifth user of the application would donate 20 EUR a year, EUC World maintenance and development would be secured. But at the same time I don't want supporting users to be annoyed in any way. So if you decide to support EUC World, please sign in first before you make a donation. Alternatively, when filling donation form you can enter the same email that is linked with your EUC World account. This will allow to link your donation with your account, so you won't be annoyed. Don't forget to sign in in EUC World app, so it will sync your account status. After it will be synced, you don't need to be connected with Internet or have active any data connection. App will remember your status even if there is no SIM card or Wifi enabled. DO YOU LIKE EUC WORLD? PLEASE RATE IT ON GOOGLE PLAY User opinions are important for other users. If you like EUC World, please rate it on Google Play store. Thank you in advance Edited February 27, 2020 by Seba
Popular Post Unventor
May I add we are working on a Danish translation too. First draft is in the pipeline, so it once I have checked the job I did look okey it should be signed off. But but... I have done a few trade offs it is to keep wordi g the same and same text length. So if you have any feedback on the Danish text used please blame me 😁 and as always feedback is very welcome, if it can be implemented... We do our best. I just wanted to help @Sebain the way I can as I am not an app programmer. I can also add that translating made me more aware of how big this app really is. So I simply couldn't sit on my hands. I had to give @Seba some beer money for his 2020 summer tour. 💵🍻🍺I look forward ro your tour report. Hi Seba, nice work and thanks for the fantastic update. But unfortunately the following functions do not work on the 16X. wheel locking/unlocking > Already did not work with the King Song App. The Wheel makes an alarm (double beep) every few seconds even though it is not moved and the motor remains activated. If you move it, at least it makes an alarm. turning off wheel/motor > I can't find the function > UPDATE: Found it! Only works via GAUGE SETTING as single, double or tap & hold action Persistent headlamp mode > Is not working a) I turn the wheel ON > start the App > turn the light ON (with the app) > then I turn the wheel off > turn the wheel on > light is and stays on AUTO b) I turn the wheel ON > start the App > turn the light ON (with the app) > then I turn the wheel off > quit the App > turn the wheel on > start the App > light is and stays on AUTO Am I doing something wrong or am I misunderstanding something? If the function "wheel locking/unlocking" works, it would be cool if the RIDING LEDs and of course the motor would be deactivated at the same time. Wheel will start to make alarming beeps on movement, but engine will be still engaged. But turn wheel off and on again, and this time engine won't engage until you unlock the wheel. 56 minutes ago, buell47 said: Persistent headlamp mode > Is not working a) I turn the wheel ON > start the App > turn the light ON (with the app) > then I turn the wheel off > turn the wheel on > light is and stays on AUTO b) I turn the wheel ON > start the App > turn the light ON (with the app) > then I turn the wheel off > quit the App > turn the wheel on > start the App > light is and stays on AUTO Hmm, I'll take a look at this again tomorrow. Popular Post .....
Thanks for the update, downloading now! I wonder if having the tiniest recognition of 'premium members', would increase revenue by just bragging rights alone? Not necessarily any extra features at all, maybe a little icon on the tour page, or a slightly diff shade of background. You know, just a little extra self gratification if one were to decide to support you financially? Just tossing it out there. Im still enjoying the app, pretty simple to use once you get into it. I havent used the headlight feature on the app, keep us posted tho, as I also use a ks wheel.
