LanghamP
I think few people are surprised that smoking pot or cannabis is strongly linked to psychosis, as the evidence has been gathering for decades, but I was very surprised to see how few cases of psychosis there actually are. https://medicalxpress.com/news/2019-03-high-potency-pot-strongly-linked.amp In Amsterdam, the incidence of first-time psychosis would likely drop from 38 to 19 per 100,000 people per year, while in London, the number of cases would decline from 46 to 32 per 100,000 people. I would have guessed something like 1 in 5 or 10 potheads develop psychosis, but no, it might be 20 per 100,000 per year. Even over many years isn't that still under 1% of ever developing psychosis? Basically we are reading that most people with psychosis have smoked cannabis, but very few people who smoke cannabis develop psychosis. I'd be more concerned with smoke pollution from smoking.
