Power cord for MSX?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

My new Gotway MSX 84V arrived today, but came with the Chinese 2 prong power cord.  Does anyone know where I can buy the US equivalent cord?

Laptop cord that fits into most laptop bricks.  Pretty common cord.  Best Buy for sure, but probably many others.

Look up "2-wire non-polarized replacement power cord".

Any Home Depot or hardware store should also have, or Amazon, or possibly Bed Bath & Beyond

That's actually so-called Euro-plug (Schuko, Type C or something along those lines?), not Chinese. Not that it makes a difference, if you can't use it anyway ;)

Thank you! Would this cord have a 2 prong or 3 prong grounded plug?

I'm able to find the 2 prong laptop style cord on Amazon, buy not a 3 prong.

The Gotway chargers for the US have two prongs. I.e., They are not grounded.

I see emojis!

Germany (Sweden too) looks like "whaaaaat" after getting whacked on the head,
France and Poland and India have had too much to drink and see the world upside down,
Italy and Switzerland are looking trough a slit and getting painted by a laser, while Euro has not been painted yet,
UK have had faaaar to much to drink and passed out upside down,
Australia and China look dejected, Israel looks hyped up,
The US looks like "woot", with or without a mouth.
