Gimlet Posted September 23, 2015 Share Posted September 23, 2015 http://www.teslamotors.com/en_GB/blog/tesla-all-wheel-drive-dual-motor-power-and-torque-specificationsThi artical has a very good explanation of the problems that are encountered when you have powerful motors that in some situations need more power than the batteries can provide.It is why I am very sceptical of any of the high powered high speed wheels being launched with smaller batteries.Basically if you want high power for safety you are likely to lose that power and safety if the battery can't keep up with the demands of the motor.
