Cut Motor Button on Tesla - Possible ?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I bought my Gotway Tesla on November 25, 2017.

A friend can put me a cut motor button on my tesla because I take a lot of the subway.

Could you tell me if my motherboard at the time could accept the button? the firmware must accept the function. and since my motherboard is November 2017, I wonder if this is possible

Thanks a lot !

Most probably yes - without details it's hard to give a more specific answer.

Many people here have thought/discussed about such cut off solutions - biggest problems to solve is the reliability and impossibility of unwanted triggering. You don't want to increase the chance for a random cut off at 40km/h!

Beside this most/many solution/ideas include high current switching which is nothing easy+small+reliable...

i dont subject expert but the guy know perfectly because he made that for acm, msx etc. He plug it on the mainboard directly in the good plug (i think)

I don't see how to implement a motor cut off with just such a button... Just as already written with a (key) switch:

But however - keep us updated which solution your friend found! Good ideas are always welcome and a great help for other members!
