Smoother
LOCATION(S):Edited to remove locational information due to the boards insistence on revealing who is riding illegally TIME PERIOD: Last weekend WEATHER: Saturday; partly sunny, Sunday mostly sunny, moderate wind DISTANCE TRAVELED: ? 15 miles maybe WHICH WHEEL OR MAIN WHEEL USED: KS16S WHO WAS WITH ME: Mr. I Pod TOTAL DISTANCE ON THIS WHEEL: 1500km? BEST MEMORIES: Drinking a beer and enjoying some Chips (fries) ( not on my diet) while watching the antics on the river in Cambridge. Exploring the peaceful XXXX WORST MEMORY:Exploring the XXX (insert Tim Allen sound here) That's right. Although the Navigation was beautiful and peaceful, the tow path was shite, or to be more specific, several different types of shite. Lets start by saying that I was travelling at an average speed of 180bpm (bumps per minute) the path is not conducive to a casual ride, 3 sloping feet from open water. One is constantly scanning the path for the next "big one" while continually being bounced around by the little ones; and often, trying to get around walkers, with dogs, or children. Add in the slippery muddy parts, and the thin sunken track parts (20cm wide, 5cm deep) and all in all, I wouldn't wheel there again. Walk? sure, Bike? absolutely, wheel? nooo!. Too damn uncomfortable. RECOMMENDATIONS/WARNINGS FOR RIDERS: XXX can be joyous for wheeling but if the surface isn't conducive to a smooth worry free ride, you won't be able to fully enjoy the experience, and you might lose your wheel in the drink.
