EUCMania
I have to say no because 1. If the battery burns in the plane, that is the end of EUC business at the cost of hundreds human lives. 2. The under powered EUC will be more likely to crash since we EUC addicts are so used to much more powerful EUCs. And a crash far away from home is very bad. 3. Instead, just use shared e-scooters away from hometown.
Hsiang
I had and kept a note 7 for amost a year, and saw first hand the fear and trepidation that surrounded that phone. Did I really think that it was going to explode? No. And despite the ban it was still "normal" looking enough where I doubt I would have been caught with it if I had choose to fly with it. But I didn't because the risk was just not worth it. I'd love to have my wheel but the regulartory hudle means that this is impossible to do. Instead I rent a gas scooter whereever I go and hopefully EUC rental will be more of a "thing" in the future.
winterwheel
Leaving aside whether the idea is viable, if I could I would take a wheel with me everywhere I went, including on any plane, train, or automobile.
