You might need the KS app to do this. If you read the manual it might state the unlocks for different speeds. And yes when I did this a year back I did it wrong too... I think you guys definitely should try the official KingSong app. I haven't had any problems with it really. You should be able to set the all the alarms and the tiltback up to 25mph. At least that's how it was with the 18xl. And yeah, you have to set alarm1 < alarm2 < alarm3 < tiltback. Or you can turn some of the alarms completely off, if memory serves, by setting them to zero. There may have been a speed limit for the first few miles? I don't know, my 18xl was completely unlocked from day one. (I don't know how that happened.) To unlock speed setting (might be 1 range only but most newer wheels are 2 range step process) you need to register to have ridden the wheel (that is how I recall the process, it is a year since I did this though). The other part is api might be different between the wheel and the firmware. It could be you got the wheel much earlier that KS anticipated with a new app version to be released. If it is a 2 step range as it was on KS18XL and KS18XL then it is a short distance with top speed of 20kmh, then you can unlock to 40kmh until the 200km range that releases the 50kmh topspeed provided you do as I showed on my screenshot earlier. I would try to turn off wheel first then close app and any other wheel apps on your phone. Deactivate Wi-Fi on you phone for now. Then turn back on the wheel, open KS app make sure you logged you in/signed in. Check speed settings menu again? Works, fine. If not... Ride 4mil more then do as above. The music sounds good the ride is wonderful and I am liking it. It came with 37 psi and I have lowered it to 26 PSI. I think I will try 20 psi next.
