I can't find any 16X photos that show it with the same as mine. It is just to my „knowledge“ that they both use the same exact tire size of 16x3inch. Before i thought they even use the same brand...but seams not to be the case.... What a fact is, that this tire size is -for example- not comparable with a 16inch 2.125 inch tire....it is a lot bigger/higher in the end. Same example would be the MSX tire ...As with 3inch it also has become „higher“.....thats why the MSX is called 19inch..... Chinese tire sizes are just weird.....No chance to order such a tire in Europe, as you would land on a total different tire if you would order a 16x3 inch or 18x3 inch here. Just experienced that as i tried to get a „special wide tire“ for my next wheel that just is in production, which will be „custom made“ one.....stay tuned for more info :-) I can ask KS which exact tire they use....but for sure will not get this info before Monday. US69
Btw...for comparison of 16s amd 16X tire size see: see at minute 1:26.....for best comparison..... But yeah: Same tire size than Nikola....but different brand!
BleepBloopBlop
First post here. I've pre-ordered the 16X. Does anyone know if it uses the same Samsung 35E cells as the 18XL?
Popular Post mrelwood
Quote Fun fact: in europe/america the wheel „inch size“ .....16 or 18 inch is measured inside the tire.....so on the rim! While in China those wheel size is defined by around the tire! for example...order a 18inch x 3inch tire here in europe....and you will get a tire that BIG, that it even does NOT fit on the Monster. So this „new wheels types“ like Nikola and 16X...both using the same CST 16x3.00tire....are when measured outside „nearly“ in the former 18inch Euc class...nearly....but more near to older 18inch class then to old 16inch class like Tesla and 16s.... You might be talking about motorcycle vs bicycle standards. A 16x3.0 bicycle tire is the same size as a 2.50-12 motorcycle tire. They are (or should be) written a bit differently, but many retailers (especially Chinese) do not know the difference. That’s why one needs to see a photo of the actual label on the tire to be sure before ordering. I think very early 16X prototypes had the same CST C-1488 tire that is on the production version of the Nikola (and indeed the Msuper V3), but later 16X photos show the Chaoyang H-5146. I think the Lhotz came with this tire as a 16x2.50, at least at some point. The CST C-1488 has a very pronounced center ridge, so at least as a 2.5” version it handled a bit like a thinner tire. I would think this to be a great feature on a 3” tire. It is also perhaps the grippiest factory installed EUC tire on mud. The Chaoyang H-5146 was a comfortable and very stable ride as a 16x2.50, but growled a bit on pavement. I find on the Nikola that it is super smooth with no road feedback at 30mph and it tends to want to straighten but still very easy to turn and carve. There's no heavy leaning like the Z10. Saw a comment regarding the 16X ride not being as smooth, albeit quicker to accelerate and brake. It'll be nice to test once it shows up on the west coast. Looking at this again, I am looking forward a lot to get my unit. Now here comes my odd part. It is nothing short of a laughing matter. I always preferred to have the wheel covered by the case. Like the V8. My KS18L does that too but you see more of the wheel due to it being bigger and raised height of pedals. Asfor the KS16X I don't really know... It takes away some of the "magic" of how it works but on the other hand it makes it look like a raw beast of power with that big tyre. It don't look like a bicycle sports tyre. So now I don't know what to think. Other than I like the look but I can't explain why? Odd thing, design shapes, textures and colour isn't it? 🙄 And how people express their opinion. I go for like or dislike, others go for love or hate... 🤔
EUC Custom Power-Pads
Where actually are the 4 X 5Watt speakers hidden? I only see the one in the back. Is that the bass speaker? When I clamp my Bose Soundlink Micro to the back of my V8 handle like this, there's hardly any music coming into my ears when I'm driving. I hope that the sound is useful and that carrying a separate Bluetooth speaker is a thing of the past. The annoying search for the Bose in the woods after a crash is also a pain in my ass.

If these EUC companies really get serious about sound, they would mount everything on top of the wheel, aiming directly towards your head/ears. 3 hours ago, mrelwood said: I see a slot. Popular Post eddiemoy
Just came back from the NYC demo. Here are my initial impressions. I wasn’t able to adjust the tire pressure since there were too many people. I normally don’t like high pressure wheels. I like them under inflated. I’ll probably get the wheel to play with so I can can lower the tire pressure to something that suits me. Maybe the riding issues will go away. That being said here are the initial impressions of the wheel. The tire valve is hard to access. Kind of like MSX MsuperV3s+ style. Not sure why they did this. It is bad. You need a valve extension to get at it. I like the look inperson. I know some don’t like it. Very subjective The side pads were coming off Not sure if it is because this is preproduction. The pedals are completely flat like the V10F. I absolutely hate this! I like to have some angle to the pedals Not completely flat. But not extreme like the MSX. Not sure they did this as all other KS wheel has some angle to the pedal. The ride, I don’t like the way this rides. But I think it is because of the tire pressure. If I cannot fix the ride feel with tire pressure, I will probably cancel my order. I hope this isn’t a tire size issue. If it is tire size, means I don’t like any tire bigger than 2.5”. i didn’t notice any motor noise. So it is silent. More so than my 100V MSX which wasn’t silent like the 84V MSX. magnetic pedals, can kick to deploy. Trolley handle seemed a little loose But works good like KS handles. Good length. The speakers are loud with good bass, not as loud as Nikola. stopping and acceleration is better than Nikola, but not as good as 16S, better than 18L/XL weight is not too difficult to lift considering it is 55lbs. Haven’t tried to lift it into my trunk. Lift cut off wasn’t working on demo unit. all black looks ok, the faux carbon fiber looks just like MSX, cheap knockoff. Now that I’ve tested it Not sure if I will replace my lighter 18L I already have a long range 18S. Not excited anymore about the wheel. 8

I was asking about different tires earlier because I feel that may be the thing that would make the 16X great, same tire as the Nikola. I also agree about tire pressure. The pressure range listed is 35psi-45psi, but I prefer closer to 30, although I've been sticking with 35 as it's a good compromise for mileage. I initially pumped it to 45 and hated the wheel, then deflated it to 30 and fell in love, so who knows? 1
