Broken leg? That was the result of your knee thing? Wow!

Yeah, at first they thought broken ACL, then they thought crushed MCL, then i had an MRI and it came back fractured through one of the knuckley knee bits on the lower leg bone, but all the ligaments still there..  And as the bone hasnt moved and i can use it the doc said im good to go.. :D

Wife was sceptical, as i still limp like a gimp but i was quietly chuffed not to have to go through the whole cast and crutches thing.

Group rides are another level of amazing. Take pictures of wheels, riders, route:efee47c9c8:

I have been filming a lot, but my broom handle selfie stick leaves a bit to be desired so im leaving it at home this time :D

There are a few EUC up in the Auckland area... And then people like me who visit often.

We should definitely be able to pull together a group EUC ride at some stage this summer - we had started talking about one on Waiheke Island even.

Keen as a bean!

There were only 4 of us this ride, me and 3 skaters.  Was good fun but they ran out of steak while i was still at 75% battery..  Ended up dropping them off and going for another run by myself, covered 35km in the end around Auckland City.

That sounds about right - other "muti-discipline" groups have a similar challenge - the only thing that appears to be able to match an EUC for speed and range would be some of the larger e-scooters.

We really hope to be up that way sometime during summer (provided there is a lull in EUC Bodyguard sales).

But it would be worth posting in the "Electric Revolution (NZ) Facebook group as well - there are some local riders who will be a lot more available (in Auckland) than we will be...
